To be quite Frank, I expect a little more out of this hometown spot. The food was gone, but it wasn’t excellent. The prices were well within reason. My black beans were cold and my rice was cold. My burrito was well stuffed and tasted very delicious. The waitress was fantastic.So she kept coming around, making sure that I had all I needed.I would come back here again.But I would not have rice and beans.

Downtown Brunswick is exploding with new culinary talent. Bubba García’s has such a fresh experience on food and drinks. You will not be disappointed with the available taco and tequila selection. Here on a Sunday afternoon I’m watching multiple football games, drinking wonderful libations, enjoying the fantastic breezy atmosphere and appreciating mouth-watering steak, shrimp and calamari tacos. The meal is budget friendly. The atmosphere is family safe. I cannot emphasize more why you should visit this establishment. PLEASE come enjoy a taco or two here at a fabulous restaurant.

Nice place. Had to seat myself. They were hard working waitresses that just happened to be caught up in back. Menu was nice and the prices were fair. Basically a sports bar. Taco was good Spicy pork was by no means spicy. Corn was decent. Rice and black beans were an insult to the cuisine. Not worth the $3 up charge. Not that that is expensive, it’s that the two were that bland. All in all, decent.

Stopped here on a road-trip and were blown away by the bartender who served us out the window yesterday afternoon. Not only did he add a hot dog into our dog’s water bowl (his first, and new favorite food!) he made the hot sauce we couldn’t stop putting on everything.
He also refilled my husbands water many times without missing a beat which sounds silly, but this guy drinks A LOT of water and usually has to ask for refills, so it made him feel seen and noticed!
We had a great lunch and it made for a great memory of a cute town we had never even seen on a map before. Oh and the tacos were good too! Thanks.

Gage and the other bartender were truly friendly. The food was excellent and so fresh. You must go. I really liked the furniture for lounging if you want to feel at home .

So this was our first time visiting and it was nice. The street corn was amazing. It’s called something else but it was wonderful!
I got the chicken burrito with cheese on the top and it was good. I should’ve got something else but I wanted to get something different from my usual thing.
The love bug got a kids chicken quesadilla and fries and it was delicious and fresh. Husband got a margarita and said it was top tier as he’s a drinker and just one had him ready to nap.
Overall it was a nice experience and I’d go back.

The food tastes about how one would expect food to taste at a place called Bubba Garcia’s. It’s as bland as bland can be but it’s wrapped in a tortilla so they call it Mexican. They have the strangest breakfast burrito I’ve ever seen in my life. I don’t know who thought it would work, but they thought wrong. Avocado and cheese sauce do not go with egg and potatoes. But the service was the worst part. First, I ordered the breakfast burrito and received a single taco. Now, I worked on food service for years. I know mistakes are made and I’m always super friendly to everyone. I called the server over and in a friendly voice asked “is this the breakfast burrito?” He didn’t apologize. He just sighed, rolled his eyes, and picked up the plate. Then before we were finished with our meal he dropped the check off and said he was leaving. We continued eating our meal. He came back a while later clearly agitated that we hadn’t paid yet. He should have explained to me I was supposed to scan the bill with my phone. I kept waiting for him to come back so I could pay so when he came over angry it was pretty rude. I had never eaten there before and I certainly never will again. The only thing I feel a little badly about is as we were leaving we were talking about what truly was our worst Mexican food experience as I was saying the words “That was the worst” the bartender looked over and said thank you, goodbye! And I worry he thought I was talking about their food. While this place was not at all the best Mexican food I’ve ever had and I won’t go back because of the service it was far from the worst I’ve ever had. I even still left the terrible server an okay tip. That’s the kind of person I am.

Our waitress was great and super attentive. She is in collage. The food was great, but the service is what added an extra level to our experience. If you like a bar atmosphere with delicious Mexican, and other bar style grub this is a must try. If I lived here I would be a regular.

We stoped here to have a couple of drinks,nachos and relax. That is what we got. They were not busy and the server was nice and attentive.
Nachos were good and had the perfect amount of toppings. 4-5
