Review update 2022 July: revisited to check out the new menu that is Oldfields Tavern. The selection is outstanding, there’s items on the menu for everyone nothing that we ordered fell short of fantastic. Burratta, spicy feta dip, birria pork tacos, fried green tomatoes, and one of my favorites the cookie butter bread pudding. Seriously amazing. Full of flavor and everything was hot, fresh and plated impeccably. Can’t wait to revisit with friends and family.
Food here is great! Staff was super friendly and inviting, drinks and food came quickly. Owner brought out a few slices of cobbler for us to finish off a great meal! We will be returning. Highly recommend to anyone.

This place was amazing. Best BBQ I’ve had but the drinks were too notch. Try the banana old fashioned. So smooth, I had two.
So we went back and to our surprise, they updated the menu. They are no longer just BBQ. They still have it, no worries there. You can still get the old favorites like pulled pork and brisket. But they have some great updates now like Mahi Mahi and roasted chicken, burgers, salads and other meals. They expanded their menu. Drinks were great as usual. Missing that Banana Old Fashioned but here’s to hoping it returns one day!

I’ve been to this location and the Huntington one and this location definitely takes the cake! The burnt ends with Korean BBQ sauce was the star of the show and all of our sides were delicious. The drink, which I believe was called “Over The Moon” was delicious and was a nice contrast to the food. The place looks fantastic and has a great ambiance. We’ll be back!

Went basic this visit – just pulled pork, slaw and baked beans. The tang and bacon of the beans was fantastic and the slaw so hearty and perfect creaminess. The meat – amazing. *Shown with peach- habanero sauce on it, which I know is blasphemous to(sauce the meat) to some you purists! The 4 sauces to sample was especially nice, being that it wasn’t requested and I’m a huge sauce guy! YOU MUST TRY OLD FIELDS BBQ!!!

Complete waste of 23 dollars. Ordered a hamburger medium, it was extremely rare, not edible. Mashed potatoes very pasty and shiny like they have been reheated many times. Mac and cheese also seems like it’s been reheated alot. Macaroni mushy and falling apart. So bad, everything went in the garbage.

Came here on the 4th of July and it was a great way to spend the night. The fried chicken sandwich was delicious and the place seemed really cool. They had a great little outdoor seating area which made it feel more like a BBQ. Definitely come if you want great BBQ food. Its worth it.

I’ve had bbq all over the United States and this will beat most southern bbq.The ribs and brisket were perfect .super tender and perfect amount of smoke flavor . Kudos to let the meat shine with not adding sauce on them . True fashion . Hands down best bbq on Long Island . Can’t wait to eat here again

I can’t believe it took me so long to try this place, but I’m so glad I did! With their light and airy atmosphere and generous portions, this is a BBQ-lovers delight. The 1/2lb meat portions are generous enough to be split with another person alongside a few sides. Don’t sleep on the burnt end baked beans (there are burnt end pieces in there, yum!) I appreciate when pulled pork is cooked and seasoned well enough that they serve it to you plain, with an option of 4 of their house-made sauces. Smoky & sticky is my personal favorite. Can’t wait to come back and sit at the beautiful bar, and back again to sit outside!

Me and my husband came here for the first time 8/14/22 and I wish we found this place sooner. We have been trying to find a good BBQ place and we finally did the food is amazing good real southern feel type of food. When you walk inside you truly feel like you are down south. The decor is beautiful its like an upscale rustic southern barn feel and it has a great bar with drinks that complement the food very well. As soon as we walked in we sat at the bar a felt very welcome by another customer and a great bar tender named Carl. We will definitely come back
