This a refreshingly cool place to grab lunch or entertain business clients or family gatherings. Under the new ownership this place is doing a great job. Our server McKenzie was wonderfully attentive and knowledgeable. Making suggestions and helping us navigate the menu. Well be back with friends and family very soon. The Rock n Roll atmosphere was nostalgic and refreshing at the same time. The food was masterfully prepared and fresh. My hats off to this shining star in the Fishhawk community.

Very nice environment with bright lights and colors. The music fit the aesthetic it’s honestly a vibe. The sushi rolls were delicious and very fulfilling as well as the hibachi. They did seem a little bit unorganized with the cooks as they did mess up one of our sushi’s. But our waitress was extremely nice and fixed it. I cut them a bit of slack due to them being a new establishment regardless me and my family had a good time!

If you’ve never tried Rock n Roll Sushi or you’ve been but not recently, I recommend you give it a try!! I had the chance to share a great meal at their Lithia location last week.
The menu has plenty of options ranging from more traditional sushi and sashimi to less traditional options like fried sushi rolls and crab stuffed jalapeño poppers! It’s a great place for sushi lovers to be able to dine with their ‘I don’t like raw seafood’ friends, with lots of choices for both. I love raw fish but for those who don’t, I highly recommend the spicy crawfish roll. The cajun seasoned crawfish inside is something I wouldn’t have thought of as a sushi ingredient but it’s GOOD! My favorite part – they’ll gladly customize anything on the menu for you, including modifications to make your meal safely gluten free. (They even have gluten free soy sauce – just ask!). The portions are big and the dessert options will hit the spot for even the sweetest sweet tooth. Our server Alexis was patient and attentive, and the sushi chef, Tyler, was happy to answer all of our questions.
The vibe inside is fun and laid-back. There’s obviously a Rock n Roll theme with guitars on the walls and TVs showing music videos. They keep the music loud enough to be enjoyable but not loud enough to hinder conversation. Even the bathrooms fit the vibe (and were clean!) – think: glitter snow leopard wallpaper and neon signs.
Under new ownership and the management of the lovely Melany, the Lithia location not only offers an enjoyable dining experience but also has a patio with games and kids activities and a full calendar of events like themed evenings (hello, 80’s night!) and paint and sip or yoga on the patio. If you’re looking for a place to have a working lunch, this one fits the bill for that too – even having multiple USB charging ports and outlets at each booth. Stop by and give them a try, you’ll likely leave full and happy!

Ordered to-go at 5:38pm and didn’t walk out with food until 6:20pm. Besides the wait, the order was incorrect, and to top it off the sushi was made well ahead of the rest of the food and then for some reason placed at the bottom of the bag under the hot food, so the tuna roll was luke warm by the time I threw it directly in the trash when I arrived home.
Most of the rice was mushy, the steak was cold, the ramen looked like Top Ramen, the veggies tasted processed, and the shrimp was laid over wilted greens.
The waitress also did not know if I paid or not when she came to hand me the bag so she hesitated giving to me questioning whether or not I had paid when in fact I tipped 20% on my TO-GO order!! Most of the orders that seem to take priority were door dash orders. Will never be patroning this place or another Rock and Roll sushi franchise since clearly the level of ownership is poor at best.

My kids absolutely love it and the sushi is great!
While I do feel like the sushi (and the atmosphere) is very Americanized, it’s probably perfect for the area it’s located and delivers all the things you’d need from a restaurant.

Rock & Roll Sushi is hands-down the BEST sushi I’ve ever had. The rolls are generously sized — you get so much for your money — and every single one is absolutely delicious. The flavor combinations are next-level creative and so well-balanced.
Let’s talk about the jalapeño poppers with crab… are you kidding me?! That might be the greatest thing in the entire universe. And don’t even get me started on the baked rolls — I literally can’t deal.
Everything was fresh, flavorful, and unforgettable. I’m already planning my next visit. This place is a gem.

I originally chose rock and roll sushi on a whim and I’d have to say it didn’t disappoint! The service and food were both amazing. I had the opportunity to meet the head Chef and she was wonderful. Amazing attitude towards the food she produced. I went with the chefs choice for my meal and she absolutely killed it. If I could leave 6 stars I would! I’d recommend this place to anyone that asks about amazing sushi in the fish hawk area. I will definitely be back! Thank you again to the staff for an amazing night out 🙂

We gave this place a try after letting the newness die down. I love sushi and really wanted to have a great sushi option 8 minutes away from us. I could have gotten better sushi from Publix. The miso soup has no tofu whatsoever (I asked and they don’t put tofu in it, only seaweed). The wontons were okay. My lobster roll sushi was falling apart, didn’t taste fresh, crunchy flakes were soggy, and the rice was mushy. I did raise my concerns to our waitress but she seemed indifferent about it and gave us an appetizer coupon which we handed off to someone as we were leaving. We won’t go back. Feel like we wasted $45 dollars.
