I just want to congratulate the manager and the staff and welcome them to Greencastle. I was there the first day and they were working so hard to get the place open. They let me know that the following day would be the actual grand opening. I came in the next day and saw almost the entire town there! It was amazing to see that many people and every single one of them was helped in the 30 minutes. I sat down inside the restaurant. I also saw some not so proud moments from our citizens. I could hear certain citizens ordering items and then when the food came out, complaining that they didn’t order those same items. I decided not to record out of respect for privacy, but it was pretty embarrassing to see such low class. The workers at this location are very hard workers and management is doing a great job with those workers and delivering a quality product. In general, food service is a hard business and I’d like to communicate that this group of people are doing a great job and it is noticed and appreciated. By the way, if you’re so lazy not to be able to wait for food you didn’t prepare, I think there’s a bigger problem on your hands than just fried chicken.

Came in at around 12:30 on a Friday, not packed but busy enough, especially with the drive through being full. Despite that I got fast service as someone was at the register the whole time. She had some trouble with the computer to put in my order but she did her best, and got the manager to help her. No blame on either of them, they just opened like a week ago so everyone was new at everything. I got my drink and it only took about 5 minutes for my food to come out. The manager even gave me an extra sandwich to thank me for my patience. I ordered my sandwich plain because I cant have mayo or pickles, and to my suprise, she made sure bothe sandwiches were plain despite only ordering one! Praises to both of them and the cooks. Also the apple pie was molten on the inside, so I knew it was fresh, food being too hot to eat immediately is always a 5 stars on freshness. Everything was delicious and im so happy to have one of this in our town finally. Im gonna come here again for sure! Imma get a honey biscuit next time, I regret not getting one on this visit.

I ordered ahead on the app only to be still met with a 25 minute wait in the store (the app said to give them 15 minutes and I gave approx 20.) During my wait I got the pleasure of listening to the employees and management openly complaining about another employee taking to long of a break. The district manager was there and I heard her saying “this is your last warning, next time you’ll get a write up.” Highly unprofessional… Once I did get my order I was missing an order of fries and my biscuits. I said something to them and I watched the employee literally count the fries in the bag. I paid over 5 dollars for what could be compared to a medium fry from McDonald’s. (This my be their portion size, idk this is the first time I’ve been here.) I did get my fries and biscuits but when I finally got home I was missing chicken. I’d rather take the L than wait another 30 minutes. From A to Z this was horrible and I wouldn’t doubt they won’t last longer then the KFC that was there before them.
I hope this helps. Save your money and get the fried chicken from Walmart. Even the day old chicken from Walmart is better than this experience.

We ordered online for pick up. My husband went inside when we arrived and waited for over 30 mins. When he came back to the car we checked our bag and boxes and was missing a few items. So I went inside to retrieve our missing items. The manager was so reactive and chaotic. She seemed to care more about the fact that she had to come to work than making sure everyone was being taken care. She literally asked me if I checked my boxes for our missing items. Cause of course I want to wait even longer for items I already have.
I’m also not sure how training is done but there were plenty of people working for the business they had, but many standing or walking around like they had no clue what to do.
I will say the employee, I believe his name is Francis, was great! Through all the chaos he kept his composure and was doing everything he could to try and make things right.
I hate that this was how my first visit to this Church’s went as I grew up going to one in Indy an love Churchs.

I just wanted to say how amazing the food was. I had never had churches before and after hearing what everyone was saying about it, I hesitated. But we tried it tonight and 10/10. We will definitely be back.

Newly opened, they are trying to keep up and keep the food going out the door. Food was ok. It was hot and we got everything we ordered. Side portions are large. I’ll give them another try in a month or so when they slow down a bit. Staff was friendly even though the customers were extremely rude.

I spent $54 on a family meal – ordered inside since the drive-through was closed, paid for it at 6:03PM and waited patiently as I knew it was a large order and they haven’t been open long/are still in training. At 6:50 I approached the counter to inquire on my order and was told they didn’t have the ticket and the machine must have skipped it. The manager who was working directly behind the counter asked if I had my receipt and I said yes, tried to hand it to the cashier and he snatched it from my hand without a word. My order was then ready within a few minutes of giving them the receipt; when I checked the bag I realized I didn’t have any of the condiments so I nicely asked the same cashier if I could have sauce. He launched them into the bag rather than just putting them into the bag nicely or handing them to me – I listened to this same cashier be condescending to multiple customers, his customer service and attitude needs serious attention. Kindness and an apology goes a long way. Neither the manager nor cashier ever apologized for my wait or said anything to me and instead made me feel like a nuisance after I waited patiently for nearly an hour. A kind woman in line next to me was equally appalled and more apologetic than the employees. I am beyond disappointed with my entire experience and will not be returning to this location. I am normally very gracious because everyone has bad days and I seldom leave bad reviews, but truly, the unseasoned chicken was NOT worth it.

Ordered ahead for a later time on a busy night. They made the food immediately instead of the destined pickup time. Walk in no one who had ordered had food. So they had to make our order because it sat out for 4 hours. The new chicken was burnt but the biscuits sides and apple pies were good. Training needs be improved as well as thier ordering system.
