I have never seen Golden House passing on Washington St! But tonight I decided to order and the food was great. Everything you want from chinese food. Chicken Fingers were fresh and crispy. The orange chicken was light and flavorful. The rice was simple, yellow and great chicken and garlic plus onion flavor. The egg roll was spot on. The Beef teriyaki was a bit dry but overall I enjoyed the meal. The food came out to 50$ give or take and fed 3 people perfectly with enough for a 4th eater. The staff was friendly and so nice,

On a rainy day, I wanted comforting soup. Ordered from Golden House for the first time. The hot and sour soup, egg drop soup, and the veggie fried rice. The hot and sour soup was the best. Many ingredients – tofu, wood ear mushrooms, other veggies. Adding vinegar to it made it more perfect! The egg drop soup had silky egg, yummy. Both soups were thick in texture and a little salty so we diluted them with water. The veggie fried rice was yellow with broccoli! Not what we were expecting but tasted ok. Not to forget the crunchy noodles to top the soup, very nice.

Stopped by this place while traveling through Boston.The wings were absolutely delicious, and the General Tso’s chicken was spot on crispy, flavorful. The staff was super friendly, and the place was clean and well kept.

Yesterday no merry Christmas. The chicken wings, 0, th spicy veggies no meat, got tofu, the veggie egg fu Yung swimming the msg gravy. The best thing was the pancake scallions. Never again.

By far the best Chinese restaurant around. I struggled finding good food at multiple different restaurants before trying 4403 Washington St, Roslindale, MA 02131 and now don’t go anywhere else. I’m definitely a regular, highly recommend!
