I was just stopping though town and thought about getting something to support a small business all I got was a junior cheeseburger price was 8 no sides or anything and then since I paid with card charged my card 10 bucks and failed to tell me until after she swiped my card. Normally I’m all for supporting small businesses but charging 10 bucks for one burger with no side or drinks is pretty ridiculous. The burger itself had a very bad after taste so had to throw it I also asked for condiments on it and didn’t receive them. Definitely don’t recommend.

My husband and I were in Britt for a memorial for my brother, The last day of our trip we were looking for a great pork tenderloin sandwich. We Googled it and learned about the Tenderloin Trail. It lead us to the Belmond Drive-In. Wowser! Best tenderloin ever, Breaded not coated, great flavor and the pork was tender and juicy. Staff was friendly and inviting. We will be sure to return next time we’re in Iowa.

As I am in search of the best tenderloins, I came across the Belmond Drive Inn. I read that this place has one of, if not the best, in the star of Iowa. I’m happy to report, it is one of the best. Top two for me, and it was WORTH the little stop. It’s at a little cafe, with great service, and unique, old school interior.

Stopped here for food on our family road trip. This stop was pre-planned as I found it while searching for restaurants on our route. The website was very easy to navigate and had pictures of the food along with prices. So we had our entire order typed up 2 days ahead lol
We got our food to go and went to a park nearby cause our kids had a LOT of energy to let out.
Our food was great! I meant to get a breaded tenderloin but accidentally ordered the grilled tenderloin. But it was GREAT!! Very juicy! Delicious!!
We didn’t get any of the condiments with our tenderloins but they were still delicious without them!!
My kids got grilled cheese sandwiches, fries, and onion rings. I tried a bite of all their stuff and it was all great! Especially the fries!!
I got sweet tea and it was good! I’m always scared ordering sweet tea at places cause it’s either not sweet enough or WAY too sweet. Yours was perfect!
I messaged their Facebook page the other day(after hours) asking if they were kid friendly expecting a response the next day. I got a response almost instantly which was neat! They said they were very kid friendly!! I was excited to eat inside but my kids needed to run around at a park and eat.

I’m been all over North America. Lived in Texas for over 20 years. This Bronco burger is one of the best I’ve had. Get it with cheese, bacon and silverware, you can thank me later. Great service, great malt. Fried pickles better than the deep south. Great food, great Iowans.
