Great little hole in the wall spot! The breakfast burrito was huge and delicious. Amazing value for what you get! Definitely a must stop location for the green chili and friendly service.

One of the best Mexican restaurants I’ve ever eaten at. Tony was all smiles, very understanding of my disabled child and made sure everything from appetizer to dessert was perfect. The Al Pastor Burrito was amazing, both smothered in salsa and in Chile (we tried 2 ways), bean enchiladas were good, great salsa (chips had no flavor which emphasized the great salsa). Watched a bird documentary on TV which had my kids thrilled.
It is a shame it is a 6 hour drive to eat here, otherwise I would be back next weekend as well.

Very glad to find this place for a quick bite. Gentleman was very nice and courteous to us. No waiting only but a few moments for drink orders complimentary chips and our order. We had mushroom and cheeseburgers which were great. This is a no frills restaurant with average pricing and just thankful that it was in the area. They do have indoor seating. Breakfast burritos are served after normal breakfast hours.

Here’s a great kitchen find heading to Gunnison or Monarch. Authentic food made by a great cook..Tony’s wife. Tacos Pastor (pork) and chicken fajitas had that authentic flavor. Salsa made in house and Tony was very personable and attentive.

Totally want to come back and try this place! First, that’s my name, and the food looks amazing. Also, right across the street from the best sign in colorado “elevation beer co” I read the sign as ” elevation beer… colorado” I will be back to stop in and give a proper review of the place.

Tony is a great host, the service was fast and friendly, and the food was delicious. Tacos Al Pastor and Carne Asada were fantastic. Just outside of the town of Salida is great authentic Mexican served with a smile.

View of Mt. Aetna from Poncha Springs. Stopped in at “Tony’s” a little roadside restaurant and got this awesome carne asada burrito smothered in pork green chili. If you are ever in Poncha Springs you gotta try it!
