This place is first-class, quiet possibility the best place I’ve ever been to for a wedding. Glad my daughter chose this place. The cabin used for getting dressed and ready was fantastic. The grounds for pictures, gorgeous. The area for the wedding ceremony couldn’t have been staged any more beautifully. The reception room upstairs, the staff and overall service was second to none. If you’re considering this location for your wedding, lock it in. You won’t regret it. Special thanks to everyone at the Greenbriar Inn who worked so hard to make my daughter’s day perfect!!!

Our wedding was here last Friday, and it was beautiful and easy. Madeline was super helpful, and it was raining the day of and her and Phil (the owner) and the whole staff were willing to do whatever was necessary to have our day go as we wanted it to, though the rain ended up holding off and we got to have the ceremony outside. They stayed in communication with us on the bar (it was open up to a certain amount, then moved to a cash bar), and the food was great. We did a buffet which made the wedding extremely affordable and everyone said how good the food was. It was really a great day! I’d highly recommend this venue for your wedding, especially if you’re looking for ease of planning and options to not spend $30k on a wedding and have it still be a beautiful day. So happy we found them.

We had a wonderful birthday dinner. Started with the deviled eggs and my wife had the French onion soup. Both were really good. I had the Atlantic Salmon Mignon that was served in a bed of risotto and crab with an orange hollandaisesauce. It was outstanding. The Manhattan from the bar was on point and the strawberry galette for dessert was devine. Thank you for a great evening. We will be back

Lovely place! First time in to celebrate an anniversary and it was quiet, elegant and delicious. We had a welcoming champagne toast to begin and my husband has always wanted to try Beef Wellington and it did not disappoint. I had the lamb sirloin which was delicious as well. We topped it off with crème brûlée. We got a tour of their famous wine cellar and everyone was very friendly and inviting. Thank you for a memorable experience!

We are considering booking our wedding here so we went and had Sunday brunch and then a week or so later we went with some friends for dinner, both experiences were outstanding! The service was amazing, the food was delicious, and the property is beautiful! We can’t wait to start planning our wedding at this beautiful venue!

TLDR: The Greenbriar is an absolutely incredible venue for a wedding, and I cannot recommend it enough. We had a small, intimate wedding and had the absolute best time of our lives. Several of our wedding guests told us that our wedding was the best they had ever been to, and I credit that to the Greenbriar’s service.

Booking process: Booking and touring was very easy. The event coordinator at the time was incredibly knowledgeable and friendly, and answered all of our questions.

Planning: Matt was awesome in assisting with coordinating our day – from timing to menu design. He even made suggestions for our late-night snack given our small party size, so that everything looked perfect. I had quite a few questions and requests during this time, and was always met with professionalism, despite a staffing change at the Greenbriar. It was so nice to have everything in-house: food, drinks, ceremony, reception, dessert, chairs, china and glassware. We only had to think about our external vendors (photobooth, photographer, decor).

Rehearsal: Matt was so helpful! He walked us through everything and gave us pointers to look the best for pictures. He checked how many songs we had for the ceremony, so he could queue us perfectly down the aisle. The Greenbriar has done a lot of weddings, and you can tell by their attention to detail.

Day-of: Matt and Valerie are absolute rockstars. The venue even had a female staff member assist me with my dress train when walking to the ceremony space. Matt coordinated the ceremony without a hitch. The space was absolutely gorgeous for pictures. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive. Valerie was AMAZING (like I want to invite her to my Christmas party for the rest of my life amazing). I felt so comforted by her presence. She took care of everything during the cocktail hour and reception. She grabbed us plates of appetizers while we took pictures, to make sure we got to eat our cocktail food too. She made sure we had the best, stress-free time, and paid attention to the little things, like making sure we took home our paper menu and keeping other restaurant guests out of our reserved space. People loved the food, but especially loved the seared elk loin, the late night parmesan truffle fries, and the tiramisu. I ended up accidentally leaving my veil, and Matt kept it safe until I was able to pick it up.

If you are looking for the classy, timeless vibes of your wedding dreams, look no further.

This was a wonderful dining experience. I loved the pâté, their bread was fanatic, and the crab cakes had a very interesting flavor that intrigued me. I’m a sucker for French fries, and they were hot and crispy. We were given a complimentary scoop of sorbet (amazing raspberry flavor) while waiting for our main entrees, which was a nice touch. My beef Wellington was delicious and I highly recommend it. My husband ordered the hamburger that had an interesting flavor profile. They mix it up with unique ways of making original things taste new and interesting. The key lime tart was mind blowing. The patio is gorgeous and the ambiance set a romantic tone for our Friday night dinner date. Check this place out!

Romantic spot that aims high and falls short.

The room we sat in was whisper-quiet making conversation public and awkward.

They were out of their most popular appetizer but didn’t mention it until we ordered.

We asked for drinks with our food. They arrived 15 minutes in to a long wait for food. My wine glass was dirty and had debris from other drinks in it. They brought me another and I still fished out a couple bits from the bar.

My steak was unsalted and cooked well below the temperature I requested. Lastly, the entree they brought me was not as described in the menu.

Overall, an ambitious concept that lacks execution.

Absolutely loved working at the Greenbriar Inn recently, photographing a spring wedding. It started raining right after the ceremony but the Inn provided plenty of space for the entire wedding reception and we managed to shoot some wonderful portraits at the end of the evening. Would love to work here again!
