Delicious food. The chicken is tender and nicely marinated. The rice by itself (without the white sauce) is a little dry, but delicious. Asking for extra rice on your platter is free.
I recommend the chicken platter or the combo platter.
The falafel pieces are puck-shaped. They are very crunchy on the outside, and are quite good by themselves without needing to add sauces.
The dessert kheer is also quite tasty, and the Baklava is flaky and sweet, with plenty of nuts.
Yasir (one of the employees) is very friendly and remembers repeat customers.

A clean and cozy restaurant. I ordered falafel sandwich with salad and hummus. The sandwich was delicious. Fast service and welcoming staff. There is no parking on the street but there is a parking lot in the back.
One problem is there is no bathroom.

This review is self explanatory. Hair in food, not one but two in the half platter I ate. I will not attempt to eat the other half at this point as I’m disguted. This shows substandard hygiene. When I spoke to the manager he was courteous and explained they have received complaints from other customers about this issue and he is going to look into it. For now, I am not going to risk my health.

I was looking forward to Hamza and Medina halal as the Hicksville location has been excellent for years (even before they opened the store and had the cart by Aboffs paint shop). The Hempstead location needs a visit from the owner and supervision of their employees. Food was unrecognizable and when I called to give feedback they were extremely disrespectful. Will never visit this location again!
