Absolutely perfect “3.8 Chinese restaurant” iykyk. Got a ton of great American Chinese take out for $60. Ordered online and picked up. No English anywhere in the restaurant and 2 kids just hanging out behind the counter. Technically they had 2 tables, but I’d only recommend take out. I’ll 100% be back

Good for a quick bite if you’re local but hard to recommend if you don’t live nearby. Good prices: lunch special was $10 with tip. Service was minimal, just enough to place our order. We ate in the restaurant but weren’t offered any water to drink. The refrigerator in the dining room hummed loudly. Best to stick to takeout.

I have ordered from No. 1 Chinese Restaurant several times. Years ago, I thought their quality was so-so. Lately, they’ve been excellent. I like my Chinese takeout to be fresh, not-gloppy, with crisp vegetables and flavorful, but not too salty. I don’t think they use MSG. More recently, I have ordered from their food through Grub Hub. Unfortunately, the last time Grub Hub screwed up and brought me the wrong order. It wasn’t No 1’s fault. I called No 1. and they sent the correct order, at their own expense. I felt bad that I wasn’t prepared to give the driver a tip. Please support this local restaurant!!!

Sloooooooowwwwww! Even if you order ahead. You will still wait 15 to 20 mins more in the restaurant. Then they’ll say things like “almost ready” and “couple more minutes” but its not. I thought if you order way ahead of time you won’t run into issues but I was wrong. Im not coming back

This is by far the best Chinese restaurant in Milwaukee Comes to price and quality of food. Hi am a connoisseur of fried rice and I love a combination fried rice. They do not skip on the meat at all their shrimp or not micro shrimp they are about medium size. The chicken is clearly chicken breast that they have sliced up not little bits and scraps. I’ve never seen anything like it. Well done and yummy. I will not go anywhere else anymore. I was craving it today so bad and I called 10 minutes before they open and hope to see what answer they did and they took my order! It was ready when I got there. I am a happy girl. Get this you don’t get this place is just doesn’t happen.

They have the best pepper salt shrimp, coconut shrimp & shrimp with lobster sauce….yummmm ❤️ definitely my number one go to for shrimp Chinese take-out because of how much I love shrimp.

So unfortunate to have to give such a bad review. Our food was 45 min late and when it came it was just genuinely not very good or very flavorful. When I called to inquire the whereabouts of our food, my experience was very strange and unprofessional. The website is confusing and so is the pricing. Won’t be returning.
