It’s a new place that just opened up, so as of now it’s actually a lot better than the other Mexican places around. Everything that everybody else around us was ordering looked good, what I had was pretty good.

Poore House
New restaurant in T-Ville and it impressed the wife and I. Fresh guacamole made to order, great salsa and fresh warm chip. Wasn’t expecting the great flavors – Carne Asada steak for me and Shrimp Ceviche for her. She hasn’t had a good Ceviche in years and couldn’t get over how good it was. Service still learning their jobs, but friendly and food came out quick even though parking lot was full.

The chicken and rice was really good the first time we went, I got the same thing today, chicken and rice with onions, the onions were not cooked, still quite crunchy and overpowering. I couldn’t finish it. (And I usually finish everything.) Seemed like they just threw them in at the last second. The quality of the chicken was sub par this time as well, chewy, not tender.
My wife got bean burritos, she complained that they tasted like straight taco seasoning. She’s a bean connoisseur, she gets bean burritos at every Mexican restaurant she can find, these are the first she’s complained about.

This restaurant has just recently opened. The food was terrific. Service was great. We loved it.
