I got this as delivery and it was pretty alright. I ordered the short rib Koja burger and soy garlic wings, while my friends got their short rib and beef bowls. Their short rib in the koja burger was pretty solid and flavorful, but I did think that their rice buns were really dense. It was also just difficult to eat (as it was so big). My friends thought their bowls were good though! I wish the wings had a bit more sauce, but it was decent. Overall, not a bad spot for some fusion Korean food.

Criminally underrated place in Fremont. No matter how busy it is outside it’s never quite as busy in here. I used to go to the San Mateo location a lot so I know how good the food is.

Korean Mexican American fusion is unbelievably satisfying on so many levels

This time I came in and got their fried chicken sandwich which was brined in sake

Hands on one of the best chicken sandwiches I’ve had in my life. Now this is not an exaggeration or some sort of superlative. It really is that good.

If only the good people of Fremont would venture to expand their taste buds

Yes … Wishere is one of these in Cupertino that we used to go to all the time. Then they split their space with another place, and they took away the tacos that I really liked. Now I’m seeing the Cupertino location is closed. Bummer. But I have a new job, and I’m right around the corner from this one, and I’ve already been here a bunch of times. And they have the chicken and beef and pork tacos I like so much. And the staff are very quick and friendly. Wish I could get their wifi to work on my phone though.

The food was much sweeter than Korean food I am used to. The Soju had a bad aftertaste, and I realized later, it was due to the artificial sweetener. Good quality of food. I love Japanese food, but this was not up to my standards. The food looks good. My daughter loved the food, but my wife and I disagree. Service was good.

Drive by this place often, but never gave it a chance until today. Ordered the braised pork Koja and the Kamikaze Fries, both were super yummy! Kamikaze Fries had a nice spicy kick to them and the pork Koja was a nice take on a fusion burger that I’ve never experienced before! Nice clean restaurant, can’t wait to come back and try different items from the menu!

It is original Korean and Japanese combined which is a great idea. Two locations were in San Jose and Cupertino. But the new owners made it the worst. They put Mexican sauce and cracker inside the meals. They also reduced the portion by half; then promoted by 1 get 1. What a shame!

Overall, Koja Kitchen delivers punchy and extremely flavorful dishes that are a treat for the taste buds. We tried the Original Koja, Teriyaki Zen Koja, Ahi Tuna Bowl, and Beef Bowl.

The Beef Bowl was a standout—packed with flavor and perfectly proportioned. I would absolutely order that again! The Ahi Tuna Bowl was good, but the ratio of tuna to salad could have been better; it felt more like I was eating a salad, unlike the well-balanced Beef Bowl. The rice burgers were fairly good, though not out-of-this-world delicious.

Koja Kitchen’s fusion concept is definitely fun and different, making it worth a visit if you’re looking for something unique and tasty.

I was very impressed with the flavor and quality of food. I also like how there was an option to order through their touch screen monitor or have a live person take your order, who was also available and helping in the dining room. I had the crispy chicken burger and would definitely go back just for that again. I look forward to trying other delicious items froms their menu.

Unfortunately they skimp on the meat portion 100%… Tons of rice and kimchi and lettuce with 3 4 small pieces of chicken
