Got to love a small town bar that is active late, full of local regulars, plays great tunes, and has a fun attentive bartender. I was completely at home in this joint. Jess was super friendly, quick with a smile, and she immediately encouraged us to pick songs to play. (Which she played quickly!) Drinks were tasty and will return when opportunity allows.

This bar has been a White Salmon place to get together. The owner, Kris, has been in the area for over 25 years and really knows the pulse of the community. It’s small, but huge with friendliness. Regular events such karaoke, local singers and songwriters, comedy nights and dj events. There is even a backdoor patio available for seating. Highly recommended!

Excellent bar often described as an elegant dive. Good local brews on tap, cocktails range from bottom of barrel wells to top shelf fancy. No food, but you can bring in takeout from any of the local options, especially pizza from right next door at Leona. Almost always a table or seat, except for occasional busy Saturdays. Love this place.

i’ve been a normal patron for ten years. a new bartender double charged me. I asked her about it, she took my beer and kicked me out. The bartender did not have a problem when another patron put me in a full nelson while i was sitting at the bar, but i became a problem, when i asked her about double charging me.

Such and awesome place for drinks. You can bring your own food in and they have a band usually once a weekend. Just added a TV so sports will be shown most of the time. I can’t wait for the next 2017 NFL season!!! Great job Nick.

Amy is the gold standard! Tarwater tavern is the place you can get the real deal. Amy never fails to give you her best and more personalized cocktails for your taste buds. Not prentious, always welcoming, great conversation, fun music never a dull moment but relaxing too!! It’s nice to have her create the vibe we need in the neighborhood for a night out or some day play!

This is a really neat bar with great drinks, but they only take cash or Venmo. I don’t use Venmo, and didn’t have cash on me. It’s frustrating coming across the river to visit a specific business to just turn around and leave.
