A small Irish Pub located on the upper Black River a short distance from McSweet’s RV Resort. Coldest beer in town, specialty drinks and a great selection of Irish Whiskey! Serving pizza only. Great outdoor space with lots of seating. Live music most weekends in the summer. Annual motorcycle and classic car events. And, of course, a St. Patrick’s Day party like no other! The view of the river is breathtaking! Pull up your boat and have a drink with us! Boat landing available to customers.

Wow what a great place!!! Stumbled upon McSweets looking to get a bite to eat. We were on our Harley. We realized it was bike night after arriving and the vibe awesome!

Great place to hang out and get something to drink. My mom and I stopped here for lunch thinking there was a menu because we didn’t look close enough on Google and were disappointed when we heard there was only pizza. However, we stayed and hung out, chatting with the people around us having a great time. The pizza was ok at best but did the job.
Do note, they are CASH ONLY. They have an ATM inside but they do not accept card otherwise.

I saw their sign on 94 on our way to Minnesota but we had just stopped so I bookmarked them for our next trip. Tonight my husband and I again headed to Minnesota, this time needing a stop with outdoor seating (for the dogs) with TVs (for the Bucks game). I messaged McSweet’s on Facebook and got a quick reply that the patio was open and the large garage doors would give the perfect view of their TVs.
We could tell this was an Irish Pub from the moment we walked up. The owners immediately introduced themselves and invited the dogs in. The local patrons engaged us in conversation. Josh the bartender was attentive. The only place I’ve ever experienced hospitality like this was, well, Ireland.
They have five craft taps and each beer varied: an IPA, Spotted Cow, Blue Moon, hard lemonade, and (of course) an Irish Red. They serve frozen pizza from two local pizzerias: Kozy’s and Clark. We ordered the Clark Chicken Alfredo: crispy crust, creamy sauce, and the chicken wasn’t dry like it can get on a frozen pizza. We look forward to stopping again to try Kozy’s Philly Cheesesteak pizza.
The photos speak for themselves. We love mapping out new places to try on our drive but I think we will go ahead and make this our regular stop. No need to try anything new!!

Fun bar and a welcome addition to Black River Falls. Exceptional location right next to the river, and on a warm day when the building is opened up it’s a great spot to relax and have a beer. Will definitely be coming back! Heads up—they are cash only.

Anytime we’ve been there we’ve got food and drinks quick, bartenders always smiling, bands are great, and people are all friendly. There’s an awesome view overlooking a pond and the black river with see through garage doors that open and are screened in for an outside feeling. They have firepits outside. A bar anyone would love! The owners make you feel like family. Love this place!
