We got a variety of items. From wings, burgers and pizza. All enjoyed throughly.
The cheese curds and fried mushrooms were spectacular. For a bar/pub style menu everything was made well. And greasy. Which who doesn’t love that.
Staff helped one another well.
Only “critique” would be front door, a sign say “wait to seat” or “seat yourself” would been great for I stood there for few minutes no idea what to do and guest/staff watching my group walk on 1 by 1 and just standing around blocking door.
I believe it is WAIT to be seated for anybody getting ready to try for first time. Just ignore everyone stareing at you awkwardly.
If you go there more then once and order the same thing they typically remember your order.
The place was clean with an eclectic local place feel. The staff was welcoming and polite.
The pretzel bites and cheese were as. Expected. Nothing spectacular, just hot. By the time it made it to the table the cheese had a thick “skin” on top. Those were eaten before I could snap a pic.
My son rated the chicken tenders a 5/10 and I agree, they smelled like fish. They tasted okay. We have to stop by Wendy’s for chicken nuggets on the way home as he didn’t eat but 2. Overall I was surprised at the $12 price point. The pic showcases the entire portion.
The bbq pizza was really nice. I would request a thinner crust than it is on, the dough was strong on yeast. We are taking it home to air fry tomorrow and crisp up more. The price point is average.
I had the bowl of ham and potato soup, but high was the daily special. $6 was a fair price. It was goodish, I make that from scratch and use more spices in mine, so that is my comparison.
I really wondered about the beef taco pasta special and the server couldn’t tell me about it. I thought it was customary for servers to taste the specials so they could provide a good overview…it sounded like they had some leftover taco meat they needed to use before it went bad and added some peppers and onions to it and served it over pasta. I didn’t want to spend $12 to find out.
Overall thy didn’t knock any item out of the park, it might be more of a local favorite as they seemed to recognize many patrons and welcome them back.
