Passed by this place around 1:00pm and ordered a house special beef noodle soup (Spicy Soup w/Beef, Assorted Vegetables and Knife Cut Noodles). Though there were more staffers than customers at that time, the food took a long time to come. It did not look good. The beef were such tiny irregular-shaped morsels, and tasted so dry and bland, they felt like meat taken off bones that were used to make broth (not the broth of this noodle soup). Other than the noodles (fresh but definitely not knife cut), nothing was fresh. You can see the bean sprouts and some dried vegetable stalks in the photos. They looked days old. After taking some noodles I felt too grossed out to finish the food. Don’t know how a restaurant can serve food like this and expect the business to last.

I have been a big fan of Yummy Tofu for years, and looks like it’s now under new management.

Food is slightly different than before, the side dishes used to be more traditional which is personal preference.

As shown in this photo, the food was very fresh and the service was excellent. The staffs were very polite and handled food with care. Greatly appreciated it.

Just go! Excellent, Cosy, Korean restaurant – with all your favorites. They serve six side dishes, of which five can be eaten by vegetarians. The seafood pancake can be made vegetarian, and was great. The mushroom tofu stew, and pork BBQ were both yummy. You might be sitting very close to other tables, but it is understandable for a family restaurant. The service is attentive and prompt.

We got takeout. Haemul Pajeon, Soondubu, dolsotbap, and dwangjangjige. The food is excellent, especially the pajeon. The restaurant is small so get there early. Not really suitable for large groups.

Absolutely the best Korean food in the area: delicious side dishes, fulfilling portions of food, and extremely flavorful. They also have the BEST seafood pancake I’ve ever had. Amazing restaurant overall, highly recommend (from an Asian person)!!!

Mom and Pop place w the best Pajun in the world! Hands down. No fluff, no extra flour, lots of fillings like veges or seafood, and just plain crispy and light and none of that chewy dough most places sell that I will never eat. Always so happy here w home made feel of food. Thank you!

Try not to leave bad reviews on small family owned restaurants but this place was definitely not good

The 2 ladies were too busy to be polite. That’s understandable . The tables weren’t cleaned up so the place looked really messy and unorganized as you walked in. Ordered bbq pork which was good but the 육개장 beef soup was probably the worst I had in San Jose. Very plain and too much of rice noodles in the soup. The beef was not pulled or shredded but the chunks of meat with gristles were in it.

Would I go back,,, NO
