I ordered two tacos, on flour tortillas and an enchilada, also on a flour tortilla, all no tomatoes.
With the limited drink selection, my food and drinks were nearly $26.
The food arrived on corn tortillas with tomatoes. I told the guy it wasn’t mine.
The guy who took my order, I assume the manager because he was bossing everyone around, said it was my order. I told him I ordered flour tortillas and no tomatoes. He snapped at me “no you didn’t!, you didn’t say that!!” I explained I did, he shouted again, “no!! You didn’t” and walked away.
A few minutes later, he came back with a printout of my receipt and said he now sees they messed up my order. He offered to remake.
When he brought my food back, there were no tomatoes but all was still on corn tortillas. I can’t stand corn tortillas.
I asked again, why did you remake all this and still put everything on corn tortillas when I keep asking for flour? He said “because that’s the only thing we messed up!”
Order taker/manager was incredibly rude. He seemed like he was looking to argue and or fight rather than give a paying customer what they ordered and wanted.
The food was marginal, nothing special lacked flavor, and was very expensive. To boot, the chairs were incredibly uncomfortable.
They are so many other restaurants around this one where the food is much better and you don’t have to worry about an angry belligerent manager who won’t fix your order even when they mess it up.
There is no way I’ll be going back to that place.

This place is always a favorite. The owner is so kind and welcoming, making sure you have a great experience. The food is excellent – authentic eats in the loop! Plus, the drinks are strong and tasty. I loved the fresh strawberry in the margarita, but all the options are great.

I ordered the combination chicken and steak fajitas for pickup and it is one of the most flavorful things I’ve tried in a while. It comes with beans, rice, a side salad (with a scoop of guac!!), multiple tortillas and salads. So good. Will be ordering again.

Tony and team are excellent at what they do. Damn good food. It’s a simple yet hard concept many restaurants in the loop struggle to grasp. The food is affordable , the vibes immaculate and the service top tier. Highly recommend for lunch , dinner or just a post work happy hour!

The food is great and it comes out very quick, the servers are friendly. However, there’s one server who screws up my order every time. This is like the third time I’ve been there and she messed it up. Today I asked for 3 beef enchiladas to go with a side of rice and beans, and a side of queso. Was disappointed when I got home to see three enchiladas with 0 SAUCE and only beef and queso??? And then I didn’t get a side of queso. Like cmon how hard is it

Great place for lunch or quick cocktail. I used to go to the original location on Jackson before they closed. Followed them to Wells and here. They also own Spanglish on State Street. Check them out. Family owned.

MUST VISIT! Quite possibly the best enchiladas I have ever eaten! Our family was in Chicago last month on a break. Happened to find this place. Loved it the first time. Went back. Loved it even more. We are going to be talking about these two meals for a long time!
