Local people advised know coming here and turns it it did pay off. The staff was so friendly and accommodating. When asking for a spice level ( I do likea good hot food ) the staff made my meal specific to what I desire. And also had a good laugh.
As always you have a nice starter ( poppadoms and some pickles).
Continuing with absolutely amazing food. Still dreaming about up to today. The wonderful garlic jus watering my mouth….getting off the topic now… To sum up, 100% worth coming!

Would be full five stars if there were some more spicy options. All the curries were mild except for the vindaloo.
Asked if they could make another dish a bit spicier, and they said “no”. Most restaurants would accommodate this.
Otherwise a decent restaurant.

We had a fantastic experience at Scarborough Tandoori. The service was excellent from start to finish, with a genuinely friendly team who took the time to talk us through the menu and make recommendations.
The absolute standout, though — and something that completely blew me away — was the slow-cooked Lamb shank in bhuna sauce. It defied all expectations and was quite simply sensational: beautifully tender, full of flavour, and cooked to perfection.
My wife and I will absolutely be returning. Highly recommended.

Seriously one of the BEST Indian restaurants I have ever been to. Absolutely top class 10/10.
I quite often avoid going out for a curry due to meat being tough etc but this place… wow, spot on. The meat was tender, the flavours were gorgeous, everything was ace plus the staff were lovely. Cannot find a single fault here. And a nice, complimentary shot of Baileys to finish the night off well 🙂

Exceptional food and service and why I keep returning to this lovely restaurant.
I had poppadoms, pickle tray, onion bajis, mushroom rice and a chicken madras. The food was amazing and since the refit, has got better and better. I simply cannot fault the service either and thank them for their professionalism and friendly approach. See you again soon

We ate here a year ago and thoroughly enjoyed it, and again it didn’t disappoint.
Five of us tried numerous dishes, all were good. Service is very friendly, one of the gentlemen is especially friendly (manager?), he also made a great impression on us last year.
In a town that is full of low quality restaurants, this place should be on your radar.

very disappointed in the food very bland had better from iceland , did point out the mix platter starter for 2 was very poor quality greasy no flavours at all in any of the meats just looked and tasted like a frozen meal had been served
on. sizzling plate !

pashwari nan no taste that was almost a plain nan bread
mixed meat balti was ok but same again plentiful but meats poor
was offered complimentary bailey’s as we were on our way out and not at the table

Went just before the New Year, was not impressed at all. The tikka castle had to be the runniest tasteless sauce ever, the chicken was tender though. The naan had to be the thinnest one I have seen yet, it snapped like a cracker! Whether it was due to it being a large sharing one Im not sure but I really wouldnt recommend it. My partner had the lamb, now hes not a moaner like me but he left most of it as it was more like mutton, staff said it was due to the sauce!! Mmmmm, doubt it. I have pics but not sure how to add them.

Scarborough Tandoori, great service with a smile, and top tier Bangladeshi/British Indian Cuisine. You can’t go wrong with the guys at ST, they have been serving the town for years and i can see why people keep coming back.
They have a personable relationship with the locals and are a staple in the town from the conversations with other tables and the staff.
The curries were lovely if not a bit mild, i would ask for it to be spicy if you are used to the taste of curries in Birmingham.
Great ambience and overall a wonderful dining experience in the town. Their last orders are around 10pm ish so try and call ahead to avoid disappointment on walk ins.
Overall great experience and free parking after 6pm is a bonus in the town.
5* from me, keep it up team Scarborough Tandoori.
