Some Hits, Some Misses.
We picked up a few things during our first visit here: peanuts, donuts, caramel-pecan ice cream, a loaf of soft white bread, a slice of pepperoni pizza, and a jar of sugar-free pineapple jam.
No food pics this time — I was way too hungry! We ate the pizza and ice cream right in the car.
The flowers, though, were gorgeous — and the $25 vases were well worth it (photos posted!).
As for the food:
• The peanuts looked great but were under-roasted — not quite done through, and I say that as someone who loves peanuts in all their forms.
• The bread had a soft texture I’m used to, but the taste was bland and yeasty. I tried it with butter and jam, as a sandwich, and to scoop pasta sauce — still didn’t do much for me.
• The sugar-free pineapple jam was gentle in flavor. It’s a nice option if you’re looking for something mild, but for me, it didn’t add the tropical zing I was hoping for.
• The donuts were dense and very greasy — more on the bready side than light and fluffy.
• The pizza was below average. And considering how hungry I was (which usually makes food taste better!), that says something.
Saving the best for last: the caramel-pecan ice cream was a win! Cool, creamy, and just what we needed on a blazing hot day. That was definitely the highlight of our stop.

We drove about an hour from Chagrin Falls to this country market (the drive was so pretty!). We went specifically for the Pretzel Bar. I had read about it online. There were many options and they were all made from scratch! Delicious! Lots of meat and the pretzel dough adds so much flavor. The portions are large and I found the prices to be very reasonable for what we got.

We drive an hour just for their donuts! Sweet but not sugary. The best!

This was my first time here what a great place The donuts are outstanding I’ve had the pretzel breakfast sandwiches and you have got to try them! This is one of the things I love about Northeast Ohio! Give it a try even if you have to travel well worth it!

Prices are a bit high. We were charges twice for a beverage. we had told the lady we had purchased the fountain drink with our first order. We dined in and our 2nd order was take out. Our fountain drink, about a 12oz, was almost $4. Would have been better off with a capped item.

The best homemade food around. The best customer service, excellent prices and convenient location. I’d give them a 10 all the way across the board if I could. Definitely worth the trip

Want a coffee? Don’t go in the morning. They won’t, can’t, or don’t know how to make coffee, cappuccino, cold brew, etc. Pretzels are awesome though. Too bad Ferroni’s isn’t open at 5am.
I didn’t get any coffee. That’s the problem.

The Pretzel Bar is phenomenal! The Pretzel rolls are always hot and delicious! Prices are fair and the portions are great! Pictured is the Steak and Cheese. It is our favorite we’ve tried so far. The new location is under construction but I think it’ll be amazing once it’s finished.

This is a gem! I have no pictures of the pretzels, because we were hungry, and the pretzels were so delicious they didn’t stand a chance of being photographed (I have pictures of the donuts since those were for breakfast the next day) the pretzels are AMAZING. Lots of beautiful signs and household decor, and there’s even a bakery with freshly made donuts! I’ve learned from a local that it’s a very large Amish run business (at least 55!), and has been around a coupe years now, but I sincerely hope they remain a staple. This is going to be a stop I’ll have to make every time I head out that way now. Sooo worth it!
