We have been waiting for this to open and were excited to hear that it had! Other vacationers said they went so we had to check it out.

The staff couldn’t be nicer. They were up front that they were still working out kinks (understandable when they’re only like 4 days into being open!). They’re still hammering things out (wine list written on a random piece of paper, figuring out staff roles), but all things considered, service was great and professional, and everything came at the right time.

Our cocktails (Hugo, dirty martini) were great. We enjoyed both apps. We had a black kale Cesar with a great dressing. It had romaine in it too, which I wasn’t expecting, but still good. Calamari had a nice kick to it and great sauce.

My husband ordered the swordfish special with cherry tomatoes, capers, and risotto. It was excellent. Super fresh and balanced.

I ordered the prawn pappardelle, but I was disappointed with that. Pasta was very overdone and mushy, and the sauce just tasted like cream but not seasoning and almost pasty in thickness. The prawns had heads and tails on, but they were grilled so the little legs kept falling off into the pasta. I asked for salt and pepper to try to salvage it, but it was sort of congealed and room temp. It was supposed to have fennel in it, but that was nowhere to be found, nor was the ciabatta. So, I’d say that dish needs some retweaking. But there’s always growing pains with a new spot.

Even with that, we would definitely go back. It’s a great addition to the local dining scene, especially when you’re over the tiki bar and fried seafood scene.

Amazing cocktails, delicious food, and fabulous staff! I’m so excited to have a fine dining spot so close when we are in KCB. Amanda crafted the perfect whiskey cocktail for my liking & hubby had the 24 Karrot. We had the calamari dish and black kale caesar salad for appetizers. Both were excellent. For dinner I had the grilled swordfish over risotto with a tomato and caper pomade. Husband had a clam & pasta dish with sage. Both were prepared perfectly. We tried a side of the broccolini as well. It had a delicious sauce over just the right amount of char to the broccolini! Loved it! Our server was so very sweet & helpful too! Really great experience. You would have never known it was only their first week of operation! Great job! We can’t wait to get back down to visit again.

So happy to try their lunch menu. We both got the local catch of the day. Being locals ourselves we appreciate fresh seafood. I got mine sautéed and my husband got his blackened. Both were excellent!! The dessert was incredible. We will definitely be back!

I absolutely love this place. Amanda, Mike, doing an extraordinary job — their service and dedication truly stand out. I highly recommend everyone to come and experience it.

This place brings back beautiful memories and has such a special energy. I feel incredibly happy every time I’m here. I’m very selective about where I go, and I can honestly say I love this industry and this amazing team.

The drinks are outstanding — I highly recommend the Millionario of Marathon. The food is excellent, the atmosphere is incredible, and the overall experience is simply unforgettable.

I 100% recommend this place to everyone.

We visited this restaurant twice within a two-week period, both times sitting at the bar with Daniel as our bartender. The restaurant had just reopened under new ownership about a week prior, and the staff was upfront that they were still working out a few kinks during what felt like a soft opening.
That said, our experiences were very enjoyable.
This is a fine dining establishment and not a budget-friendly dining option. However, that is exactly what we were looking for. We had grown a bit tired of eating what felt like the same menu items at every “tiki” spot in town and wanted a more elevated dining experience. This restaurant delivered on that front with thoughtful food, excellent cocktails, and attentive service
It’s clear there’s a lot of potential here, and the quality of both the bar program and the kitchen already shines through.
Daniel was friendly, attentive, and made us feel welcome each time, which added to the overall experience. We appreciated the elevated level of meal and drink service, as well as the transparency from the staff as they settle in. We’re looking forward to coming back as they continue to settle in and refine things.

Had our first dinner at new The Inn at Key Colony Beach last night…did not disappoint!
Fortunately we had Neven as our Server, what an outstanding hospitality experience! She was very helpful, answered questions with advice and took great care of us, start to finish!
We had the Beef Osso Bucco and the Grilled Swordfish, would recommend both!!
Great wine selection and menu.
Renovated and the bar area is night & day better than the old restaurant bar.
Go!!!!

Terrible service. We came in to what seems to be an unfinished restaurant. We were welcomed at the door and told that they didn’t have the tables yet that they had ordered, but they were able to seat us in 15 minutes. Why you would open a restaurant when you don’t have tables in a large part of your restaurant, I have no idea. We chose to wait in the bar area at a high top table. After waiting 30 minutes, we were finally greeted by the host again informing us that he would be getting our table ready and cleaning it off. We waited another 15 minutes and checked the table that he was supposed to be cleaning off, and it had not been touched or cleaned off at all. A total of 45 minutes wasted when we were originally told a 15 minute wait. We ended up leaving. We stood in the parking lot looking for somewhere else to eat and noticed they never started cleaning the table off until about 10 minutes after we had already left the restaurant. Disappointed was an understatement to the party of 6 as we were looking forward to trying this place out. Now each time we drive by we’re reminded of the horrible service we received.

Finally had a chance to try the re-done Inn at Key Colony Restaurant, and it was fabulous! Stephanie was our server, who made our experience ten stars. We had the chicken piccata and bone-in pork chop, both were so delicious, my friend and i traded plates half-way through. The new decor is a nice upgrade to the old digs, and the staff was upbeat and professional. We will definitely be back!
