Sushi 101 is a restaurant which simulates the feeling of dining in an authentic Japanese Restaurant. We have a beautiful Sakura Tree in the dining place, where you can relax and savour your delicious food while enjoying the wonders of the tree. Although our restaurant is newly opened, our head chef has been in the Sushi business for over 15 years, throughout which he has acquired tremendous skill, experience, and mastery of the art that is Sushi preparation. Dining at Sushi 101 is truly a once-in-a-lifetime culinary experience.

Their miso soup is one of the best i’ve ever tried! Great place for a quick lunch. Their food is always fresh and delicious, everything we taste is never a loss. I love all the decorations like the legos on the table and plushies on the window. As well as the big blossom tree in the middle of the interior, it really adds to the ambiance. Service is good as most places. I will be coming back~10/10 recommend!

By far my favourite sushi restaurant in the area. Not only is the food amazing(they seriously have the best ramen), but the staff are incredibly kind and welcoming, and they are family friendly. We took my 20 month old son to the restaurant for supper yesterday and they provided everything we could need including high chair, toddler plate/fork, little toys for him to play with and they even cut the sushi roll up smaller for him to eat. 10/10 would recommend.

Ordered a mini tray ($57.95 on the website) for take out. Arrived to pick up and pay, and the receipt says $64.95, a 14 % increase. Inquired and they said they updated their menu prices but “the guy who updates the website hasn’t responded yet”. If I’m ordering off the website, as one typically does when ordering take out, I would expect those to be the prices and not be at the mercy of an incompetent/incommunicado employee or subcontractor. However, they basically said too bad. Next time I’ll be sure to come and sit in, only to then order take out. I think Sushi 101 needs some education in Customer Service 101. I am not against a price increase as the food is good, but I am against deceitful business practices or not admitting errors. Pictures attached with dates and identifying info removed.

Me and my boyfriend are so absolutely obsessed with this place we have been going for years!!!!!! I recommend it to everyone and anyone who likes sushi or even wants to give it a try. The food is amazing quality great positions and always consistent. The prices are the best in the area for the service and food you receive no doubt. Also I have to mention that the people who work there are so kind the atmosphere in the whole restaurant is warm and happy! We love sushi 101.

This place is exactly what you want when going out for some sushi. Amazing little spot with cozy, cute and homemade decorations all around. Service is always prefect, very kind and efficient. Most importantly the sushi was spot on. The fish tastes very fresh and sushi rolls made with care. Very good portion sizes as well leaving you full and happy. I’ve been to this place multiple times and have never left unsatisfied.

We love this restaurant and the staff. The food is always fresh and hot. They remember us and treat us like family. Nothing is too much trouble and they even got vanilla ice cream in for me lol. We love that you can order 4 pieces of sushi rather than a full 8 portion. That way you can taste it to see if you like it before getting the bigger portion. The sushi always tastes delicious and it’s definitely quality over quantity.
