Firstly, let’s talk atmosphere. Given that my experience was carry-out, managing expectations accordingly is key. The ambiance wasn’t that great, but I can’t help but wonder if the summer months . I can see some potential then.

The smoked meats were the main event. I opted for the half slab rib and smoked turkey wings. It was dry rub on both the ribs and wings. However, this allowed the true flavors of the meat to shine through. It seemed like a consistent seasoning was used so I enjoyed the flavor. If you prefer a meat-centric experience over drowning everything in sauce, you should try this place.

For sides I hadnCollard Greens, Mac & Cheese, and Fried Okra. Each side dish delivered exactly what you’d expect, with a touch of restaurant-style seasoning. The flavors were on point, and they complemented the meats well. Nothing over-the-top, just good, honest sides that hit the spot.

I would come back to try the brisket. If the ribs and turkey wing were any indication, I have a feeling it will be worth coming back.

This is not your typical indoor restaurant. There is a nice area outside with table seating and umbrellas. The baked beans are great with the ground turkey and the macaroni & cheese was OK. Not much taste. Rib tips were not so meaty, but good taste. Chicken had a nice taste and smoke. Prices weren’t too bad. For a rib tip platter which includes 2 sides, BBQ sauce and Texas toast, and a separate order of chicken, leg quarter. I paid about $23. I would definitely try again.

My brother informed me about this restaurant. The parking lot is small, but I guess you can park across the street. I see that they cut their own woods. I had turkey wings, and it was great. The cream corn was delicious. However, the collard greens, key lime cake, and homemade lemonade were okay. I will be back to try other dishes.

Amazing rib tips with very spectacular, mouthwatering macaroni and cheese and totally awesome smoked collard greens with pork for my sides. The rib tips were well smoked, tender, and paired nicely with the mustard BBQ (Carolina BBQ) sauce and BBQ sauce. You can tell they make their sauces in-house! They both rock! The sauces had me licking my fingers over and over again, hahaha. I also purchased 2 ounces of their homemade Pineapple Salsa to try with my rib tips. It was delightfully different but extremely tasty. I will be definitely heading back in the near future.

I had a taste for bbq so i googled what’s closest to me & I ended up at The pig, da cow & da chicken I spent a couple pennies shy of $45 I ordered fresh squeezed lemonade, rib plate with mac & cheese & baked beans & pulled pork nachos….Disappointed to be modest….mac & cheese the noodles was over cooked & it tasted off , pulled pork nachos $13 & I had a 2 little pieces of pork majority chips all soggy bt the menu said crispy, generous amount of ribs for 1/2 slab they tasted decent, baked beans were ok, the fresh squeezed lemonade didn’t look like lemonade at all i didnt drink it because Ive never seen lemonade that color, the cupe of bbq sauce were watered down….very disappointed

Some of the best Mac n cheese I’ve had in a while. The BBQ brisket was very tender and juicy. They did a great job at transforming this place into a BBQ spot …. and the food was served quicker than I thought, due to having 6 large orders for my staff. The only thing I personally would change is adding a lil more flavor to the smoked meat… It’s tender and juicy but a lil powwow would take it over the top. Butt that’s just my personal opinion. You guys try it for yourself.

I had brisket, greens and Mac and cheese. Brisket had flavor but wasn’t that tender, a little chewy. Green were ok and Mac and cheese as well. I’d go back and try a different meat, hopefully was just a 1 off with the brisket. Plate was $30, a little on upper side. And extra cap of bbq sauce is 1.50.

Absolutely love the mural on the side! I ordered 1 pound of brisket with Mac and collard greens. My friend ordered the Turkey wings, Mac, and green beans. The Turkey wings are the star of the show! I was not impressed with the brisket. But the sides were phenomenal. I also got some sweet potato muffins, my “I need something sweet”. Those were bomb too!

Heated up in a microwave for 30-60 seconds after several days, DAS BBQ left overs Looked and tasted hella better than fresh take out from here. A little over an hour before close, this place had two options left for sides and I choked on the dryness and spice of the brisket. A competition would go to DAS BBQ for the win.

So this was my first experience and to be honest I’m disappointed. I ordered the rib tips with a side of mac and green beans. My ribs were ice cold no seasoning no smoke flavor or nothing. The sides were okay I don’t like the fact that they use penne noodles for macaroni and cheese. The green beans were the best thing out of the whole meal. I didn’t really like the bbq sauce it tasted like apple sauce. I’m just disappointed.
