The 3 taco plate with beans and rice was nice. The condiment bar add variety of sauces and options.
The fresh fruit juice mixes were very good! Tried berry mix, mango and hibiscus. There is variety of frozen desserts.
There is a nice selection of beers!

Passing through on my way back to Colorado, had to stop to try this place and WOW! The food was AWESOME , service was wonderful and it made me miss home even more. I got tamales to take on the road. You must try this place. Atmosphere was festive and you could tell that there is a lot of heart and soul put into the food and experience. I will definitely be back next time I pass through❤️

We stopped for lunch while driving to Wichita Falls as this was the halfway point. We are so glad that we did! The restaurant is casual and has great Mexican food.
The server recommended the mocajete Azteca, which was pricey, but delicious and well worth the cost. My wife had an asada quesadilla that was also very good. Portions are large and we’ll prepared. Service was fast and friendly. Will definitely stop her again next time we’re driving this way!

Very nice little authentic Mexican restaurant. Portion for the steak fajitas was HUGE and tasty! Tacos are only soft shell and the meat (beef) was mixed with chopped potatoes and carrots. That’s a new one for me. They came without any toppings. I’m not sure if I needed to ask so I did. The atmosphere is quaint with really cool chairs! Overall, a clean and easy-to-get-to spot for our lunch!

Service was poor and food was so so. No one sat us when we entered the restaurant and we asked another table and they said they got seated. We sat ourselves and then after a few minutes asked a waitress for a menu, she obviously spoke little English because a younger waitress came over who spoke English. No one offered us chips n salsa or explained. Chips were not made on site as there were bags of chips in the storage area you could clearly see from our table. so maybe we d I don’t miss out. We ordered margs on the rocks all you could taste was salt and tequila. We both ordered fajitas. They were just ok. The steak had fatty parts and hard to chew. The Tortillas were ok and dry. Ordered a side of rice had to ask the waitress as she had forgotten. The rice ended up coming part way through eating my meal and was a small ramikin for 3 bucks. Yes, we are white eating in a Hispanic restaurant but should have received the same service as other tables.

1 star for the waitress service not the food . The tamales are very dry and very little meat and the soup and veggies are uncooked and hard. The sweet tea is BAD in which the waitress explained to us the boss isn’t wanting to listen to the complaints made by customer. How this place has the rating it has I have no idea but I do recommend somewhere else. Being late we had to leave and go to subway cause the food was very bad . Waitress is sweet but service is rushed and forgetful and you don’t get soda refills it’s canned sodas if you want sweet tea it’s sweeter with brownsugar syrup .

It was a pretty great experience. We come up and thought it was a biker bar from the outside, but it turned out to be a pretty fun place. Beautiful chairs and the food was really good.

I came in after eating some chips at the gas station, a friend told me to order the Fortnite Burger, and man…. It did not disappoint! It was one of the best burgers I have ever had in my life time. Definitely check out La Cocina de Maria. It serves some very good authentic food. The menu could be a bit more bigger but they make up with their delicious Fortnite Burgers.
