Sonnige Terrasse und gemütlicher Innenraum laden mitten im Höhenpark Killesberg zum Verweilen ein. Ins Glas kommen Weine vom Weingut der Stadt Stuttgart (Bio) und natürlich gibt es auch viele internationale Weine im offenen Ausschank. Ausserdem frisch gezapftes Bier der Hirsch-Brauerei. Auf dem Teller finden sich schwäbische Klassiker wie Linsen mit Spätzle, Maultaschen mit Kartoffelsalat oder Käsespätzle. Gutbürgerliches aus Deutschland, Frankreich, Belgien und Italien gesellen sich je nach Saison und Lust und Laune des Kochs dazu: Saucisse de Montbéliard, Cabonade Flammande, Bouef en Daube oder Pizzocheri. Veganes und Vegetarisches runden das Angebot ab. Aperol Spritz wird bei jedem Wetter ganzjährig ausgeschenkt.

Very, very, very long waiting time. There were 3 different staff attending my table, but seems like nobody knows what is going on. The first asked me if I want to see the menu which I agreed. After 15 min waiting another one comes and tells me there is no menu since the kitchen is busy but she still asked me if I want something cold. I thought that was a suggestion that it would be quick. I just wanted to nibble some starter with the wine. Even for 1 glass of wine I waited another 15 min. And 1 hour until the antipasti came. Food was tasty, so was the wine but the overall experience not great. Also a bit pricey with 20 euro, but since there is no menu I had no idea. The tables next to me got a printed menu though.

I am a regular customer here with my girlfriend, family and friends …….The interior is spacious and cozy and the outdoor sitting provides a very nice view of the lovely killesberg park……..the food and drinks has good variety and was scrumptious ……the owner was super nice and attending …..and the service staff was very affectionate, friendly delivery good service.

Arrived at a busy time, but the wait was less than 20min. Very good beer and delicious food. The proprietor was patient with my poor German and spoke good English. Hoping to return there.
BTW, Google Maps directions tried to send us to a private property nearby. We ended up parking on Stresemannstraße.
