This biryani restaurant is my go-to spot for takeout, and it never disappoints. I’ve tried all of their chicken and goat biryanis, and each one is packed with rich, aromatic flavors. The rice is always perfectly cooked fluffy, fragrant, and beautifully spiced while the meat is tender, juicy, and seasoned all the way through. My favourite and go to is the Mutton Pulau. Every order feels consistent and made with care.
Their selection of mandi dishes is just as impressive. The meat is incredibly tender and falls right off the bone, and the subtle, smoky flavors make every bite satisfying and comforting. Whether it’s biryani or mandi, their food is always a hit at home. Photo is of the juicy chicken mandi.
On top of the amazing food, the staff is consistently courteous and polite. They’re friendly, attentive, and make the whole takeout experience smooth and pleasant. It’s the kind of place you keep coming back to because you know you’ll get both great food and great service every time.

I ordered takeout from Biryani and Bakery in Catonsville after seeing a lot of good reviews and wanted to give it a try. I got the Kaju Kodi Vepudu, Chicken Mandi, Chicken Puff, and Chicken Tikka Roll. The Chicken Mandi had good quantity, but it was a bit too salty for my taste and the mayo smelled a little stale. The Chicken Puff was okay. The Kaju Kodi Vepudu was good, and the Chicken Tikka Roll was the best item I tried. The flavors, veggies, sauce, and chicken were all great together. I just wish the wrap was a bit thinner, maybe like a rumali roti. Overall, it was a decent takeout experience with some hits and misses.

The food was INCREDIBLE!! We had a group of 8 friends and had an entire feast. There was something for everyone- 2 friends were vegetarian and they got a paneer dish and cauliflower. Two friends got goat, we got chicken tikka masala and boneless biryani which was delicious, the puff with chat masala got devoured so fast, and then a few chicken appetizers with curry leaf, cashew, and amazing blend of spices. The service was great, very friendly and attentive! Great portion sizes- we all shared. The garlic naan and roti were also very fresh!

We recently celebrated my son’s graduation dinner at ISB, and it was an amazing experience thanks to brother Imran at Biryani & Bakers based in Catonsville, MD. The food was plentiful and delicious, with a wonderful variety of Indian and Pakistani dishes that all our guests truly enjoyed. Biryani & Bakers made amazing appetizers like Chicken 65, delicious entrees, including Dum ki Biryani, Malai Boti, and Mutton Haleem, and tasty desserts; with the Apricot Delight being a huge favorite! Biryani & Bakers went above and beyond for taking care of all aspects of our event, including vegetarian options, mocktail drinks and Irani Chai to enjoy with and after the food! Our guests have continued to praise the food well beyond the event.
