Make sure you are watching what they’re doing. One of the employees went from handling raw chicken to wrapping up my sandwich without changing gloves. Said it’s okay I didn’t touch the sandwich just the paper.

Went on opening day. It was super busy, but this is a well oiled machine. Never had Penn Station before so excited to try it. I ordered a large Classic Italian and a small fry. The fries are fresh cut and skin on. Despite the fact that they had a bin of large potatoes my fries looked like crumbs. All short/tiny pieces. The sub I ordered cold, but it was tagged “grilled” and came hot. That’s okay, not a deal breaker. They had a good combination of quality ingredients. It was okay. Next time I’ll order extra seasoning and see if they have Italian dressing or something for it. It’s not Firehouse Subs, but not bad.

Start it out five star and turned into pathetic service. Stopped in Sunday to get a sandwich was told it would be a half an hour to 45 minutes wait. I walked out the door. Monday I come back and order a cold club. They serve five people that came in the door after me. After asking where my sandwich is the kid behind the counter get smart with me and tells me a cold sandwich needs to be sent through the oven multiple times. They then make my cold club wrong with no bacon. Never offer to replace food only giving me excuse after excuse for their screw-ups. I guess I’ll just take my business elsewhere I did not order excuses and problems however that’s the only thing I’m getting from this restaurant anymore.

I said I wanted a sub when I ordered them not even five seconds after said oh sorry I meant wrap can we refund and reorder (keep in mind I paid IN CASH) and the guy said “no you’ll have to just order again but we can’t refund you.” They had not even taken my order slip off the printer nor had they started making it, there was not food being wasted by me getting a refund they’re just lazy. I asked if they could just make the sub a wrap instead and they said no it’s two different prices, the sub I got was $9.99 and the wrap I wanted was $9.49, so I don’t understand how it’s any of their concern if I’m losing money?? Lazy and unaccommodating.

After I make my order. I observe a young kid in the back preparing the food Who couldn’t keep his hands out of his hair with the gloves on that He was preparing the food with. Order the chicken parmesan, absolutely no flavor. The French fries taste like they were cooked Oil That was over a month old. Will not go back.

Thoroughly disappointed after reading reviews of other consumers and how highly they spoke of this establishment.
Order taken: 6:06 pm- entirety of order received 6:42 pm. 3 classic sandwiches, nothing extra no special requests, 2 fries. They gave us our 3 subs and 1 fry at 6:26pm that I had seen laying by the grill for 10+ mins. We didn’t actually get the fries until 6:42, AFTER REQUESTING A REFUND FOR THEM after growing tired of waiting for a $6 fry.
The couple ahead of us dined in. They had time to order, eat and they were walking to their car while we were still waiting on a French fry. 3 people behind us received their food before we did.
There is no communication between the stations. A quiet sandwich maker and a confused runner walking around checking orders over and over and still letting them sit. Piles of subs on the counter for “web orders” but can’t take care of the people standing in front of you.
If you continue on this path you’re heading straight for the Greenville Hardee’s equivalent.
I can’t say that I wouldn’t eat here again, the food really was great, but it will be long after they’ve gotten themselves together.

Subs come in 6”, 9”, and 12”. Very good taste. A bit pricey. I would tell people to Order Responsibility! Saw a youthful working man order a 12” and ate exactly half and ate a few fries – but threw the rest away. Another couple ordered a 9” each. He ate 3/4 ( or maybe 8” and she ate half (about 5”) and they threw the rest away and half the fries.
