I was in Tolar, Texas selling my sxs to my friend (mind you im from Burleson) and got hungry when my friend told me, “go 10 minutes out of the way before you go home and I promise you that you will love this little bar.” The food, service, drinks, bartender (Heather) and the owner (Randy) were all amazing. Definitely 10/10 stars and I normally don’t make reviews if that says anything.

Food is just ok, not to rave about. Not a lot of options and food isnt seasoned as much as I would like. I have noticed if you are a Local person to Granbury then you get better service than if your just visiting. We are in town for work and tried this place 1x before ans ended up with same waitress we had tonight and she is all over the place. I think what frustrates me most is that you shouldn’t have to tell a waitress or waitor that you need a refill especially when they have come to or by your table a time or 2 looked over and then walked off.. we sat the entire service and finished our entire meal when she finally came back to see if we wanted the check… no 1 word would you like a refill nothing. She only asked 1 time of everything was OK and at that point the glass was over half full… but the table next to us she made sure to follow up make sure they had refills etc I would see her glance at our table but never offered. I just feel a customer is a customer doesnt matter if you are local or visiting the town.

Went here for lunch today and we were incredibly disappointed. We sat in the room off to the right, in the last booth and it was so dirty. The table was sticky, the salt and pepper shakers were dirty and sticky, and there was an incredible amount of dead bugs in the window sill. When my salad arrived the lettuce was old and pink tinged. See photos below. The entrees were OK but we couldn’t enjoy it much, as we were wondering how dirty the kitchen must be if the dining area was this bad. Won’t be returning & don’t recommend it unless they clean the place up.

The Beer Battered Cod & Chips was delicious & the next time we had the Shrimp & Chips & the Catfish & chips. All came with hush puppies & cold slaw. We split the cod the next time because it was much to eat. Quick and good service. ❤️

The food is decent. The chicken alfredo was lacking on the sauce, so my daughter was a little disappointed there. Loved the house Margarita! Not too strong or too tart. I got the chicken sandwich and a house salad. The house salad was so fresh, prob one of the best ones I’ve had. The choc cake wasn’t as sweet as the kids are used to. It was more of a rich choc cake with a cherry brandy sauce. But the customer service was TOP NOTCH. Never had to wonder where my waitress was, and they had the regulars in there, plus took care of everyone else like they were regulars. I recommend this place for sure!! Haven’t been in a while to eat only to drink, haha, but I will be back and go try more items from the menu.

The name says it’s an oyster bar there is no actual oyster bar. Atmosphere is cold. The food here is very hit or miss…no consistency on quality or cooking. Not sure why we keep coming back but there aren’t a lot of options in Granbury.

Got here at the right time, it was pretty busy by time we left. Got the calamari, and chargrilled oysters. Both were cooked just right. The margarita was really good. The ipa deep elum one of my new favorites. The cajun pasta with the gator sausage was big portion and bigger flavor. The fish and chips was 2 big pieces and firm and full size.

My husband got the crab boil with the shrimp. Was very over cooked- he had a very hard time getting the meat out. I got the crab cake stuffed shrimp, the crab cake was very good. The shrimp was just flavorless though.
