This Sal NY Pizza location is the best, in my opinion. I’ve tried other locations and ordered the same thing, and they’re just not the same. The cheese at the other spots tastes like Kraft sandwich cheese and was cold. I did not like it at all.
This location never disappoints. The crust is always thin, crispy, and flaky, and the cheese is melted to perfection. It tastes like real, high-quality cheese, not that yellow processed stuff. I also love their lunch specials. This spot is hands down my favorite. ❤️

On the 31st, I ordered a small pizza and some wings. They said it would take an hour to deliver. When the food was delivered, they brought the wrong pizza. So I gave it back to the young lady so she could bring me another one that was correct. I immediately called the shop two times after the delivery person left and they didn’t answer. I called a third time almost 2 hours after my original order asking when the Pizza would get to me. I end up speaking with a manager who said they would make me a new pizza and refund me my money. 30 minutes after that the pizza arrived and when I brought it in and opened up the box, I could see it was the original pizza they cooked over two hours earlier. By that point, I was hungry and annoyed so I just ate it expecting the manager to refund me my money. Well, the refund never happened and the overall service was pathetic. I wish I could post pictures of the timestamps on the phone, calls the timestamps on the ring camera in the pictures of the pizza.

I got a cheese pizza for my partner and a bbq chicken for myself. The cheese definitely had more structure to it, but the bbq did not. The bottom half of the pizza slice pretty much fell off as I picked it up. The other end had a light, crispy crust. It was still a really tasty pizza overall, but I don’t think I ever used a spoon to shovel the toppings onto the upper side, and roll it like little burrito! Would still go back and try other pizza. And the garlic knots were amazing. There is minced garlic and seasonings coating them, and I loved it personally.

I never write reviews about restaurants. So it pains me that this one is a negative one. I placed an order for delivery and was told an estimated wait time of 35 minutes. I didn’t end up getting my cold cardboard for nearly 2 hours. I almost called back but decided to hold off. I know how busy places like this can get and I didn’t want to raise a stink about it. However, when I finally got my pizza it was cold and I could definitely tell that it’s been sitting for quite a while. If you’re thinking about ordering delivery from this location then I would recommend you explore other options. Heck, maybe just avoid this location altogether.

While the food is good, the service is about the worst I’ve encountered. I’ve ordered here at least 5 times. On 3 of those 5, their delivery was more than an hour late. The most recent, I placed an order at 4:30 to be delivered at 6:15. By 7:00 the food was still not delivered. So I called the shop and the very rude woman who answered informed me that they had a 1.5 to 2 hour delay. I reminded her that I placed my order at 4:30 for that specific reason. I then asked for an updated delivery time and was told “I can’t give you a time… I’m not a delivery driver.” Never once taking accountability or apologizing. Just attitude and making it seem like it’s my fault somehow. 3 strikes and they are out. Will never order from them again. Will update if/when the food gets here. 9:03 PM food finally arrived…

Portion sizes were generous. I ordered chicken Alfredo which came with a side salad and garlic bread. The Alfredo was delicious, garlic bread was good. Haven’t touched salad because pasta. Will def be coming back

May this place never go out of business – our favorite pizza 2 minutes away from us, the guy behind the counter is always friendly and will cook our order even if it’s nearing closing time. He kept us fed during the February blizzard, all the late weekend nights, and everything in between. The pizza is great of course but would also recommend the cheesy garlic knots, chicken cutlet sub, and any of the strombolis, even the wings are decent!
