I ordered the avocado toast for $12. On the menu it said it was supposed to come with avocado, goat cheese, arugula, cherry tomatoes and an egg. Apparently they were out of both arugula and cherry tomatoes. The cook should have let the server know when they realized they were out of these things so I could order something else. Instead I paid $12 for something completely different that honestly did not taste good. There was way too much goat cheese under the eggs, I couldn’t taste anything else.

The place has the vibe of an old school diner, yet comfortable, cozy & super clean
Beyond the generous portions and the biggest salads is a complete
5 star staff

Last night a chef sat us as the young charming hostess was super buzy with cashing ppl out and carryout.
Within a minute of being seated Dawn served us water and took a beverage order.
Dawn was truly the dining room point person, visiting every customer.
Rebecca our server was a treat and a winsome personality.
Beyond our food, which was excellent, we lacked for not one thing.
We ordered the grilled Italian chicken, with a variety of roasted veggies, side salad and choice of potato.
I snagged the
1/2 sandwich
Cup of soup bargain for
$13

We needed carryout boxes, Rebecca encouraged us to order dessert, but we were done.
Back to the salads
Although on this visit we did not order one, every table near us ordered salad

Stopped in for breakfast, will definitely return for lunch and dinner. The French Omlette was delicious! Large portions, tasty food, great coffee, as I drink mine black, that’s real coffee☺️

Thought we would try dinner here tonight after having had a wonderful breakfast here a few months ago… all I can say is Do NOT order the chicken pot pie It was a soggy crust, ( im sure microwave heated before serving), the gravy was almost absent making the chicken pieces and vegetables unable to eat. It unfortunately looked and tasted like day old leftovers.
The service was great, the mash potatoes and salad as sides were very good as well.

Large portions and delicious food. Interesting place that serves food and alcohol drinks. They have cake and pie in the case. Good atmosphere and great service. Would recommend eating here. Seems to have an older clientele, saw several vehicles pulling up to the door to let people with mobility issues out. If the old people like it then it must be good!

Ordered the Chorizo tacos on an early Saturday morning, plenty of seating, likely beat the morning rush! Food was great coffee was hot. The restaurant was clean and waitstaff were pleasant and friendly!

We have been coming to this venue for decades; this used to be a health food restaurant called Friar Tucks, where it was conveniently located next to a Weight Watcher meeting place. With all the competition in the area who can blame the owner for flipping this place to have a new modern décor and added incentive of offering alcohol. The wine and cocktail prices are excellent choices with fair prices.
The inside is inviting with an option to sit at either a table or a booth. The new paint and decorations are easy on the eye and offer a relaxing vibe.
There are a lot of choices on the menu, much of the menu remains from it’s previous offerings (before renovations). The soups are rock-star delicious. Mom had the Chicken Pot Pie which was dry but she did have a side of gravy to perk it up. I had Fish and chips; the fish was soggy and so/so, the fries were crispy and hot. The silverware was nice and sturdy…not as common as one might think so I appreciated it. The prices are a bit high but not unreasonable given the inflation we have all had to endure the past few years.
Overall, a great meeting place, good food, very nice spirits offering and relaxing vibe.

I love this place! Its clean, food is great…flavorful, but not salty, service is great! LAUREN is my favorite! She’s always humble and friendly and smiling! Ask for her and tell her Sheena referred you…oh and be sure to give her a huge tip because she’s worth it!

Absolutely LOVE this place! First time here, won’t be the last. Super friendly staff, clean establishment & delicious food! My friend had the Greek salad with grilled chicken. She said the chicken was super flavorful & not dry & their dressing was homemade & delicious. I had their Maurice salad. This is the third restaurant I’ve had a Maurice salad at & I think this place was the best out of all. Homemade dressing, which was fabulous, LOTS of ham & swiss (diced not julienned, which was fine by me!) & lots of thinly slice baby sweet gherkins (I minused the olives & tomatoes). They have a broccoli & chicken strudel which I was contemplating on trying, but since I’ve heard rave reviews about their Maurice salad, I got that instead. There definitely will be a next time & I’ll get the strudel then!
