I arrived to try the Chicken Chow menu because of reviews. Made my order. They looked like they were professional on a high traffic street.
I don’t know what happened today, but the Chicken Chow mein was the most tasteless food I have ever had from any Chinese restaurant…ever. It was watery and no seasonings at all.
On top of that I ordered Chicken Won Ton soup. I asked if it was just chicken. The young lady said yes. I emphasized to not give me any pork since I don’t eat pork. I get home and started to open everything after eating the cheesesteak egg rolls (which were the only things good) Then something told me to look inside of the Won Ton noodle because they were so big. FYI. Chinese chicken is white colored when cooked. I pull the wonton apart and the meat inside is red! I immediately threw the whole thing into the grass. If it’s red, it was pork!!! I was very specific about not eating pork. They don’t care! The neighborhood animals got the whole meal. I could not trust anything after that. I threw everything out.
They seem nice but I don’t think the grandmother looking cook gives a crap about people’s dietary restrictions doing this. It was very upsetting and disapoininting, but I have come to not expect anything good in the Baltimore area unfortunately. Waste of $25…lesson learned.
If you have any dietary restrictions or a tongue for taste. Don’t eat there.

Best Chinese spot around.. very friendly and great prices.. food is delicious!! I order from here often, made hot and fresh. My daughter loves their cheesesteak egg rolls and so do I lol.. even their fried wontons strips for the soups are amazing (eat em like chips). Ordered takeout here for dinner and was pleasantly surprised. The food was packed well, still hot when I got home, and the portions were generous. The orange chicken was crispy and flavorful, not soggy at all. Definitely a solid spot for quick Chinese takeout.

I ordered chicken fried rice and spring rolls. I asked the lil girl if the spring rolls had shrimp in it because I’m allergic to shellfish. She said no. I get home and comfortable to eat my food. Started eating food and meat tasted a lil rubbery. Face felt a lil funny, Lord behold, they gave me shrimp egg rolls, o called up there and the girl was so rude and nasty talking about she can give me a free can of soda. I said no you replacing the whole meal that you could have killed me. Told them I will be there in 5 minutes. She even hung the phone up on me after I said I was going to report to better business bureau. The fact she said she don’t care report them shows the lack of care for people well being. If you have any allergies, check your food. The food replacement they gave me, was nasty, spring rolls wasn’t all the way done, and they did not give me fresh chicken fried rice. I wouldn’t recommend this place to no one. They don’t even deserve the 1 star. I will report this place to BBB. It was so much that happened with this situation and the disrespect from the young girl that calls herself the manager taking orders at the register. This place will not get anymore of my business. They get actually 0 stars from me.

One of the most authentic Chinese takeout options I’ve ever tried. The fried rice has a distinct wok hei aroma and isn’t overly oily. The dim sum also tastes homemade, not frozen. Even though it’s takeout, the quality feels like eating at a fine dining restaurant.

Absolutely incredible! This little mom-and-pop Chinese restaurant is a true hidden gem. You can taste the love and care in every dish. Everything is fresh, flavorful, and perfectly seasoned. I ordered the homemade steamed dumplings, shrimp and broccoli, and shrimp fried rice, and every bite was outstanding. Watching the chefs prepare my meal right in front of me was reassuring, and it’s clear they take pride in both quality and cleanliness. The owners are so kind and welcoming, making you feel like family the moment you walk through the door. It’s rare to find food this authentic and consistently delicious. I can’t wait to come back. Easily one of the best meals I’ve had in ages!

Carryout only. The Yak is not the fried “dirty” style. Its got more sauce and uses lo mein noodles. They do make their food spicy if you ask for it and their chili oil is pretty good so I like them for that.

This is my go-to place when I’m craving Chinese takeout. Ordering is fast, pickup is smooth, and the food is consistently good. Fried rice was fresh and not greasy, and the sauces were well balanced. Great value for the price.
