Obsessed is an understatement. I grew up on Liz Sue’s and thought nothing could beat that, but this place blows it out of the water! The bagels are delicious, fluffy and fresh, and the customer service is incredible. The prices are also great. It’s now our Friday tradition to come here.

Pictured are an everything bagel toasted with extra cream cheese and ham, and an egg bagel toasted with cream cheese.

Came here on a recommendation from Bagelish and BYOB bagel consultant Beth George in Beacon – definitely worth the trip. Ordered an everything bagel toasted with salmon cream cheese and a coffee, and it was perfect. The texture was just the right kind of chewy, exactly what a great bagel should be. If I lived closer, I’d be here every morning for breakfast.

The space inside is cozy, with tables and chairs that make it easy to hang out and meet with friends. I also heard the chef hosts a farm to table event on Monday nights, would love to come back and check one out sometime! Highly recommend this spot if you’re serious about your bagels.

Monday night dinner worth the wait!! Exceptional food. Gary is full of good stories and good vibes. It’s clear he loves what he does and he wants to pass that joy onto other people. Also the bagels shop is great. The pastries are better than the bagels and the bagels are very good. There are random specials like homemade twinkies every once in a while. I get then every time I see them

First time ordering from here, ordered the Gobbler for an early lunch. God crafted this sandwich in heaven. Bagel is crispy and turkey is fresh and flavorful. Wonderful!

Ridgefield Bagels & Bakes, located in the heart of Ridgefield, CT, is a delightful spot for bagel enthusiasts and bakery lovers alike. The ambiance of the place is warm and inviting, making it an ideal spot for a casual breakfast or a mid-morning snack.

One of the standout features of Ridgefield Bagels & Bakes is the quality and freshness of their bagels. They offer a wide variety of flavors, from classic plain and sesame to more adventurous options like asiago and everything bagels. The texture is perfect – crisp on the outside and soft and chewy on the inside. Their spreads and toppings, particularly the homemade cream cheeses, are rich and flavorful, adding an extra layer of indulgence to each bite.

In addition to their bagels, the bakery section is equally impressive. The selection includes an array of pastries, muffins, and cookies, all baked to perfection. The chocolate chip cookies are a particular favorite, boasting the perfect balance of gooey and crispy. Their muffins, often still warm from the oven, are moist and packed with fresh ingredients.

The pricing is reasonable, given the quality and portion sizes, making it a great value for money.

We are so happy this bakery came to town – some of the best bagels you can get, creative baked goods, hearty soups, and more. Gary and his team just catered a lunch meeting for us: delivery was on time, they did a full set up, and the food is delicious. Thanks RBB!

Bagels and Bakes gifted us what I call a “beautiful” appetizer a few weekends ago of home made crepes, home made creme fresh AND Osetra Caviar. What a great surprise, totally excellent.

On top of that, simply the best bagels anywhere and Iv’e had NYC’s best. We will be frequenting this gem for a long time … Thanks

Ridgefield Bagel & Bakes is more than just a bagel joint. While their freshly baked bagels, boasting that perfect chewy-crisp texture, are undoubtedly a crowd-pleaser, it’s their unexpected dessert gem that truly stole my heart: the key lime pie. Intrigued by a fellow customer’s rave, I decided to give it a try – and I’m so glad I did. This isn’t your average slice; it’s a tangy, dreamy delight with a graham cracker crust that’s simply irresistible. It’s a dessert you simply must experience.

But the goodness doesn’t stop there. Beyond their delectable offerings, this shop demonstrates a strong commitment to the community. Their generous donations of leftover bagels to local nonprofits, including senior homes and farms through Food Rescue USA, are a testament to their caring spirit. It’s a small act with a big impact and it’s a fantastic way to give back.

The owner, Emily, is a delight, and the entire staff provides excellent customer service. If you’re seeking a delicious breakfast or a sweet treat while supporting a local business with a big heart, Ridgefield Bagel & Bakes is a must-visit!

They offer vegan options here and I missed them at first – sorry about that. So its importang to look and ask for these and other special options. The coffee cake I ordered was stale. It felt like it was old. Threw it away and ordered a more decent bagel. That wasn’t bad. It wasn’t special though. I will be back to try out the vegan options.
Environment is cute with catalog level decor. Audio is unbalanced coming from a single consumer point in a corner. So I only hear it in one ear.
They also exhibit local art which I like. Check them out.
