Wow. The best breakfast I have ever had. Highly recommend the Turkish egg dish and adding steak. Yum! The grain/porridge bowl was also delicious and very unique. Hearty. The french toast was fabulous but also really rich and definitely heavy on the cheesecake aspect. The tonic drinks are outstanding and I also loved the orange wine.

Atmosphere felt like I was on a beach vacation!

Atelier Manna in Leucadia feels like a modern day atelier in the truest sense, calm, design forward, and incredibly intentional about every choice, from the handcrafted plates to the way the menu is built around nourishment and “healing” ingredients.

We ordered the Turkish eggs, the Manna bowl with smoked salmon, and a side of hanger steak. The Turkish eggs were the star, silky poached eggs over cool herbed yogurt with that chili garlic butter that makes you want extra toast. The Manna bowl was clean and balanced, and the smoked salmon add on made it feel like a full meal without getting heavy. The hanger steak side was a smart add, simple, well cooked, and genuinely high quality.

Dessert was strong. The pistachio bread pudding is rich and cozy, and I loved the little pops of fruit like the kiwi that keep it feeling bright, not just sweet on sweet. The Greek yogurt panna cotta is the perfect contrast, light, tangy, and refreshing. We also got to meet Laura and the chef, and the thoughtfulness really shows in how the menu is put together and how seriously they take sourcing, especially the fresh vegetables coming from Sage Hill Farm.

One of the best brunch option in the area! The vitality tonics were quite refreshing (tried the alexandria and moonstone). The turkish eggs and tuna tartare were so flavorful, and the french toast was decadent. Staff and chef are also super friendly
Do book in advance as they are quite popular

Amazing food, great attentive service, and cool vibes / atmosphere. I don’t always drink alcohol, so I loved the NA vitality tonic options as a way to mix in a fun drink. I had the ahi tuna tartare, manna salad, and the french toast. The french toast was INCREDIBLE, and even as a lactose intolerant person I can say it was incredibly worth it

Every dish felt both thoughtful and indulgent — the kind of food that looks beautiful but also delivers on flavor.

We ordered the çılbır (Turkish eggs) and added the hanger steak, and honestly, it was perfection. The steak was grilled beautifully — juicy, tender, and right at medium rare — and it paired seamlessly with the soft-poached eggs. The herbed yogurt added this cool, tangy balance to the rich chili-garlic butter, and the torn herbs gave everything a bright, fresh lift. Every bite had that ideal mix of creamy, spicy, and savory. The toast was golden and crunchy, perfect for chasing down every bit of sauce.

Then came the torrija (Spanish-style French toast), and wow. It’s rich without being heavy — a thick-cut sourdough soaked in yuzu cheesecake custard, topped with pecans, pear, and candied ginger. The textures were layered beautifully: crisp edges, custardy center, bright citrus notes cutting through the sweetness. It’s one of those dishes that makes you stop mid-bite just to appreciate what’s happening.

Manna feels like the kind of place where brunch becomes an experience — cozy, elevated, and genuinely creative. Every plate feels crafted with care, and it shows.

If you love brunch done thoughtfully, this is it.

From the moment we arrived, Jay the host made us feel genuinely welcomed and taken care of. Our server, Patrick, was incredibly attentive and knowledgeable. He walked us through the menu and made some great recommendations.

We eat at a lot of restaurants, and this one genuinely stood out. Every dish was a work of art and full of flavor.

What we ordered:
• Çılbır (Turkish Eggs) with Steak (extra)(worth it) – Perfectly poached eggs over herbed yogurt with chili garlic butter and toast. The added steak was juicy, well-seasoned, and the perfect protein boost. Rich, comforting, and deeply flavorful.
• Hamachi Crudo – Light, fresh, and beautifully balanced with watermelon, avocado, and tomato.
• Greek Yogurt Panna Cotta (x2) – Visually stunning and delicious, with pink guava tapioca and seasonal toppings. A standout dish, it was soooo good we ordered a second one.
• Cold Brew Coffee – Smooth, bold, and served over beautiful spherical ice.
• Orange Juice (x2) – Super fresh, vibrant, and clean.
• Kids Plate – Simple and satisfying. It came with a soft rolled omelet, fresh bread, and a cute little fruit cup with star-shaped apples. Our little one loved it.

⚠️ Tip #1: Make a reservation ahead of time – we almost didn’t get seated, and this is not a spot you want to miss.
⚠️ Tip #2: If you’re eyeing the Torrija (Spanish-style French toast) – Patrick let us know it takes around 30 minutes to prepare, so it’s best to order that one right at the beginning.

Such a wonderful place. All of the food is amazing; somehow even better than expected. The staff is friendly, well-informed, helpful, and attentive to the last. This is probably the best restaurant I’ve been to in some time.

The absolute best brunch in San Diego. We’re long-time fans of Campfire, and we eagerly awaited the opening of Manna. They have the craziest combinations in their tonics, their Steady State coffee is perfect, and every dish we’ve had has been superb. I’m a big fan of the breakfast sandwich and the seasonal French toast, and my husband’s favorite is the Turkish eggs. Can’t go wrong at Manna!

The best breakfast downtown. This may seem like an overstatement, but this little restaurant is a darn dandy place to eat. With dishes from all over the world, they do not disappoint, although they are slightly costly (for your first time you MUST get the Turkish eggs). Don’t be scared by the tonics on the back of the menu, they are super unique and flavorful. The staff (especially the charismatic bearded fellow are super warm and friendly and are more than happy to help you with your questions and give good suggestions. We are always heading here every once in a while because they tend to change their food items every once in a while and their drink menu once every two weeks.
