Very cute cafe in a great location. Arrived here for work with a big group unannounced (which I felt bad for) but they treated everyone so friendly and warmly. Everyone in my 25 person party got their orders quickly, had a place to sit and enjoyed themselves. I heard many “yum”s in my group so it’s safe to say it’s a great spot for a coffee and muffin during your next time in Queen City Center. Thank you Lottie’s!

I initially came here for the infamous iced airplane latte but I left with so much more! The drink was amazing as well as the egg bites! The sauce was a great compliment to the eggs. The environment has such a welcoming vibe. It felt very cozy even though there were plenty of seating. The merchandise are great quality! This was my first time but it definitely won’t be my last. The gem of the epicentre!

Pleasant coffee shop, and the staff was nice. I got the famous airplane latte (which yes was good), and I got a veggie sandwich. I was very pleased that this coffee shop had food options beyond the normal pastries/bakery items. I especially appreciated how they had vegetarian options. I stopped in here for lunch today, and I was happy with my experience. I love all the different fun latte options! I will definitely be back.

We went to Lottie’s Café and were a little confused at first—there’s no clear direction on whether you should wait for a server or order at the counter. The cashier seemed a bit overwhelmed, and we ended up without waters. A self-serve water station would be a huge help since there aren’t any servers and the staff stays very busy.
That said, the food was amazing! The avocado toast was the best I’ve ever had—so crisp and flavorful with every bite. The Campfire Latte was also delicious! One thing to note: they don’t validate parking, so just a heads-up.
Overall, great food and atmosphere, just a few small things that could make the experience smoother.

Food was honestly a zero. My friend found mold in her pastry and told the staff, so they gave her something else and that also had mold in it. On top of that there were fruit flies everywhere. The staff looked really unclean and one of them was literally wearing pajamas. One person was nice, but the other wouldn’t even apologize about the mold in our food. Overall it was gross and disappointing and definitely not a place I’d go back to.

Very busy place – but worth the wait! My SF vanilla almond milk latte was delicious, and Hugo‘s bowl was great. I asked for light aïoli and an extra egg on the side and it came out correctly.

I visited Lottie’s yesterday (Sat morning) on a whim for a solo breakfast date. Lottie’s ended up feeding more than just my belly. It provided the calm I needed after a hectic week. I’ll just get the obvious out of the way… how delicious the food is. You can tell my Hugo’s Hash was handcrafted with love and the flavors all melted together. My plate didn’t stand a chance. As a huge coffee fan, I was pleasantly surprised how well balanced my Airplane Latte was, especially since I ordered it with light milk. It also, did not stand a chance. Even more notable than their amazing food, was the customer service I received. There was a light and just a positive spirit inside of the cafe. It also shined through the employees who not only care about your order, but care about you as a person.
My first experience at Lottie’s was truly a special one and I would recommend them a million times over. ❤️

Lottie’s is easily one of my favorite coffee spots in Charlotte. The coffee is consistently great, but this morning truly stood out thanks to Kendall. She made me one of the best lattes I’ve had in a very long time. She used the Madeline syrup and even created a special cold foam for my hot latte something she didn’t have to do, but did anyway and the design on top was absolutely stunning!!!!!
What really made the experience special was Kendall herself. She was incredibly kind, patient, and genuinely took her time asking what I liked and didn’t like to make sure my latte was perfect. You can tell she truly cares about her craft and her customers.
The entire staff was extremely friendly, and the atmosphere is what really sets Lottie’s apart. I noticed different patrons; total strangers, interacting and chatting with one another, which says a lot about how welcoming and comfortable the space is. It’s such an easy, inviting place to visit, whether you’re stopping in for a quick coffee or hanging out for a while.
Highly recommend Lottie’s if you’re looking for amazing coffee, great service, and a genuinely warm environment.

Great coffee shop in downtown Charlotte. Casual small eats, not a full service breakfast. Creative, seasonal coffee drink. Great place for kill some time, study or take a casual business meeting. Hash is great!
