The tacos here are next-level—fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with care. The tortillas are perfect, the meat is seasoned just right, and every bite hits. What really makes the place shine, though, is the people. Irving brings great energy and makes you feel genuinely welcome, like you’re a regular even on your first visit. Ronaldo is just as awesome—super friendly, attentive, and clearly proud of the food he’s serving. You can tell both of them care about the experience, not just the order. Great tacos, great vibes, and even better service. I’ll definitely be back.

the elote how ever was a bit watery but still good the hot sauce that they provided was not as spicy as I preferred it to be over all 7.5/10

I made a review a few years back about another taco spot being the best in Dallas… I went back recently and they were TRASH, they had new people there
TODAY 1/25 I stopped by this Taqueria and BAEBEEEAAA!!! THESE TACOS WERE SO FLAVORFUL! OMG!!! THEY GOT THE NUMBER 1 SPOT! THE RICE WAS SEASONED! THE BEANS WERE GOOD TOO!
I WILL DEFINITELY BE BACK TO GIVE THEM MORE OF MY MONEY!

do not i mean do NOT waste your money here. i was wrongfully charged and attempted on another wrongful charge. they also do not comprehend or understand basics reason for just charging ppl for anything. when they realize they had messed up they tried to tell me no refund AFTER he took my payment being the wrong amount. i didn’t receive the food and asked for a manager. it took him 10 mins just to come back with no manager. When i asked again for the manager the female worker with blonde hair working the grill and the guy taking orders looked at each other as if they wasn’t trying to get him but instead still get me the food when i said i didn’t want it i want a manager a refund. i had to yell out just for a manager to come which is crazy. the manager came and he is as worse as the employees working the even after realizing they charge me wrong he was still trying to be argumentative about making it which i didn’t want anymore. after 40 mins of being there they finally gave me my money back but they also put back the food they just handle for my order so now i believe nothing is fresh there save your money & thank you to the district manager for stepping in and handling this. Do not i mean Do not come. Horrible experience 0/10 customer service 0/10

I ordered on UberEats and was stoked based on the reviews. When my tacos and elotes arrived, I was a little underwhelmed. 10 tacos were layered flat into a single container. The meat portions were skimpy, if we’re being generous. The elotes had no hot sauce and were all mayo. Who makes elotes without hot sauce?
Taste wise the tacos were- meh. Nothing to rave about. The elotes I had to doctor up with my own Valentina and cotija. As a plus, the churro was good. I won’t order from there again when Oak Cliff and West Dallas have so many other great options.

Taqueria El Arquito: A Hidden Gem (Despite the Gas Station!)
Let me tell you, I was on a mission for good Mexican food. Reviews on Google Maps led me to Taqueria El Arquito, and while the location – inside a gas station – had me a touch apprehensive, let me assure you, this place is a hidden gem!
Now, I’m from the Northeast, so maybe my expectations for portion sizes were a little off. Walking in through the gas station, I grabbed my order from the super friendly staff, a bit worried about the whole “gas station food” situation. But back at the hotel, I opened that bag, and wow!
First off, the sheer quantity of food was incredible. The street corn – what I thought would be a normal cob – was a mountain of deliciousness, enough for like four people! Same with the gordita – it was massive, easily a double portion compared to what I’m used to.
Then there were the trompo tacos. These beauties came with all the toppings on the side, which I loved – building your own taco is half the fun! Each ingredient was fresh and flavorful, and the meat itself was fantastic.
Needless to say, I ended up with leftovers for breakfast. For the price, the quality, and the sheer joy of eating this food, Taqueria El Arquito is a winner. Forget fancy restaurants – this is the real deal. Next time I’m in town, you can bet I’ll be back, raving to everyone about this hidden gem (gas station location and all)!

Was passing by from San Angelo Tx back home to Atlanta Ga and was in the area for some good tacos. Got tacos de pastor and barbacoa, did not disappoint! Super delicious and good portions of meat also.. the churos are also filled with cajeta, overall 10/10

Stop by this place, great food & great customer service. Oh yea! There’s a little chill spot in the round chairs with the palmas, I needed that too I just got off a long day at work!!

I’m not much for gas station food BUT my desperation for a UNtacobell breakfast taco was too strong.
The waiter/cook was polite as can be, I’d left my glasses and couldn’t see and he quickly executed my order chicken tacos and sent me on my way.
Chicken was not overcooked and seasoned well.
It was perfect before my 1 hour trip into Denton.

Everything was so good. We ordered chicken quesadillas, fajita tacos, al pastor and hubby ordered breakfast tacos and he enjoyed them. What a great spot we found.
