Thai Curry – Downtown (Fort Smith)
Have you experienced Thai hospitality before?
Both portions were extremely generous, not to mention… OMG, SO DELICIOUS!!!
I’ve come to restaurants before where hardly any customers were inside. Usually, restaurants will throw something quickly, without much quality or care. Not here.
Let me start by saying as someone who’s been to Thailand several times, and experienced firsthand Thai happy and friendly culture. “Thai Curry,” Restaurant made me feel like I’m back in Thailand. The young lady that helped me pick out menu items was so kind and her smile reminded me of Thai smile.
With Thai people you can usually spike up an easy conversation and that’s what this young pretty lady and I did.
She recommended me, “Larb Chicken” – Finely sliced choice of meat tossed with ground roasted rice, fresh lime juice and Thai seasoning served on a bed of fresh lettuce. Every bite tasted fresh and of high quality ingredients.
Since I was really hungry and excited for authentic Thai cuisine, I asked for Appetizer recommendations, as well. Young lady suggested, “Pan-Seared Ahi Tuna.” As I used my fork to cut into each piece, it was tender, well seasoned and oh so delicious.
Both portions were extremely generous, not to mention… OMG, SO DELICIOUS!!!
In fact, my Appetizer alone, was such a large portion I couldn’t finish all of my main course. Ahi Tuna has so much protein, 25+ grams that next time I visit, I can order just Ahi Tuna.
Overall, I really did have a wonderful experience. I would say the exterior building may throw some people off to thinking it’s a junky place, but give them a try. You may be surprised how good their Thai Customer Service is and how much of high quality cuisine you’re getting here. Prices are surprisingly reasonable here.
I’m looking forward to making another business trip to Fort Smith and use “Thai Curry,” Restaurant as an excuse to come back.

Great Thai food! Like “Abroad Travel’s” review below, I would second that this place is full of warmth, Thai hospitality, and great food. The noodles are on par with fresh Pad Thai in Thailand. The yellow curry was some of the best I’ve had. If there were a guide book of recommended food stops along I-40, this would deserve a place. On an added note, tons of great options for vegetarians. Thank you!

I used to frequent Thai Curry in college, and this was my first visit back in a few years. The amazing quality remains, and I am one happy customer! This is the only place I have fried rice as it is the best around. Not to mention the incredible Thai Tea!

The food here is awesome and I think very fairly priced. They work really hard and are very accommodating. Great location and always makes me happy to visit, the music they play gives such a great vibe.

I lived in Thailand for 3 years. This is the best Thai food I have since I left. Portions are HUGH and very tasty. If you are not used to Thai spice, I suggest you choose 2 out of 6.

Pretty decent place. Had the Panang Curry with chicken, fried potstickers, and the Basil fried rice “crispy” duck. Know ahead if time the duck is not crispy and nit my favorite. I would have liked the chicken better. But overall the dishes were tasty and fresh! The Curry was absolutely on point with taste and spice.

First time eating at the Fort Smith location and it is just as good as the Van Buren spot. Always get the Chicken Pad Thai spice level 6 and it never disappoints.

Had the lad nah combo meat lvl2 and it was very tasty. I wasn’t very hungry, but really wanted to try it. I’m glad I did, even if I barely put a dent in it. The carrots weren’t very good, but I’m not a carrot person. Excited for my leftovers!
