Hermes and Bella held the lights so that we could enjoy a late Sunday Family Dinner here. I ordered the Shrimp Kabob entree, which was nicely prepared. The charbroiled shrimp were delicious and accompanied by very fresh vegetables on the plate. I will return for this dish specifically. Thank you for great food and service!
November 2025 Update – We re-ordered via DoorDash and were pleased with the entrees once again. Like most other meals, the these dishes is much nicer better when presented on a plate for dine-in. However, we were happy with our delivery!
February 2026 Update – My family and I visited the restaurant again for a dine-in experience. We tried the pizza for the first time, and it was excellent. I also asked for a charbroiled salmon with shrimp kabob plate, which is technically not on the menu, but they did not hesitate. My extremely picky 3 year old son said that everything was great.

My fiancé and I went here for first time recently and we will definitely be back! We ordered the babaganoush, chicken shawarma, lentil soup and falafel pita wrap. Everything tasted so good and fresh! Our favorite(s) were the lentil soup and the creamy garlic sauce that came with the falafel pita wrap was so tasty! The service was super kind and attentive. We can’t wait to go back.

This Mediterranean restaurant is truly a hidden gem. The food is absolutely delicious, the portions are incredibly generous, and the staff couldn’t be friendlier! It’s rare to find a place that gets everything right, and that’s why I keep coming back… multiple times a week!

Used to go here all the time back in the day til 2012. The chicken shawarma wrap/sandwich was great and dare I say better than Pita Inn’s but the only thing that lacked was their sauces. Decided to give this a shot today since I was passing by and it’s been a while…I should have just kept driving. Not sure if they have new owners or chefs but the chicken shawarma wrap was definitely not what it used to be. First of all the price…$12.xx for a chicken shawarma wrap. Secondly the ingredients…only lettuce, tomatoes, a few chunks of chicken, with watered down tzatziki sauce. Lastly the pita bread…was tough and chewy. Save your tastebuds and money and go down the street and hit up Pita Inn or even Jarasa Kabab.

side. One of the dishes I liked was their gourmet cheese mediterranean pizza which is a flatbread topped with mozzarella and gorgonzola cheese. The Lamb Sheesh Kabob Wrap had a solid amount of lamb but I would’ve preferred if the onions, pickles, and tomatoes were more diced and spread out throughout the wrap. Now since they serve pizza, I had to have some. First was the beef Shawarma pizza, I think this pizza can be better if they had some sort of garlic sauce binding the ingredients together because the tomato and beef wasn’t really working on its own. As for the other pizza, this was the best dish of the entire experience. The rosemary potato was incredible.

Larsa’s Mediterranean in Skokie offers a delightful experience that combines traditional flavors with a cozy atmosphere. The kababs are absolutely delicious, perfectly seasoned, and grilled to perfection—tender, juicy, and full of flavor. The fatoosh salad is fresh and vibrant, with just the right amount of tangy dressing and crispy pita, providing a great balance to the meal. If you’re in the mood for something a little different, the pizza, crafted by a seasoned veteran of the kitchen, is a must-try. It’s clear that years of experience go into every bite, with a crisp crust and a unique blend of Mediterranean ingredients that really set it apart.
The service is top-notch, with Marvin, the manager, creating a welcoming and friendly atmosphere. He takes great care in making sure guests feel at home, adding a personal touch to the dining experience. Whether you’re a regular or a first-timer, Larsa’s Mediterranean is a spot you won’t want to miss.

They are back! I have been coming here for so many years that my husband and I were so upset that they were closed for such a long time. They are back in business and let me tell you the food is still amazing! We love the bbq chicken pizza and the johnny classic pizza. To be honest everything they have has such great flavor and good portions as well. If you haven’t tried it yet what are you waiting for?
