Cute and low key restaurant. Quiet but still relatively lively. Loved the panang curry and portion sizes good too. Pad-eggplant was good not great. Will definitely be back!

I am so happy I had the opportunity to try out Finn Thai. There Pad Thai with Chicken and Spring Rolls… simply muah, amazing!

I went in to the restaurant to pick up my order. It was well decorated, nice and clean.

Definitely will be back to eat in person as recommended, thanks for such a welcoming experience.

This place is adorable! The services, spectacular. And ohhhhh the spice. Thai spicy isn’t to bad for me, if you don’t like spicy, beware. Had the mango sticky rice too, delicious.

I ordered the drunken noodles with shrimp, and it was a flavorful experience from start to finish. The noodles were perfectly cooked with a slightly chewy texture, coated in a rich, savory sauce that had the right balance of heat and sweetness. The shrimp were plump, juicy, and well-seasoned, adding a satisfying protein element to each bite. Fresh vegetables like bell peppers and basil elevated the dish with vibrant color and refreshing crunch. The portion size was generous, making it a filling and comforting meal. This dish hit all the right notes—spicy, bold, and incredibly satisfying.

Enjoyed tasty curry dishes (green and panang) in a relaxing, home like atmosphere with my husband. Service was great. Our waiter was attentive and very nice.

8/8/25 update: It’s been years since our last visit. My husband and I had calamari appetizers, red wine, teriyaki beef (New York steak) and Penang curry shrimp. We really enjoyed the Penang curry dish but disappointed with the beef; the meat was too raw and difficult to slice (I ordered medium rare) and I asked them to cook the meat more which they graciously did. But the NY steak had a lot of gristle which made it hard to enjoy my meal. The calamari wasn’t what I expected either, it came out soggy. The coating fell off when you picked it up. Overall, the servers and the food presentation were great, but the food wasn’t what we expected.

We had lunch at this Thai restaurant in Reston and were delighted from the moment we walked in until we left. The experience was excellent. The food was terrific, and the chef cooked each dish with masterful skill. We started with fried calamari, which was made from fresh squid and had a clean taste. The bouncing texture was a sign that fresh squid was used to cook it. We also liked the fact that the batter on the squid was thin. The Essan Steak was the star of the meal. The Asian-inspired sauce was used to marinate the steak and grilled to perfection. The asparagus on the side was perfectly steamed without any flavors, which nicely balanced the steak. The steak was so tender when I bit into it. The Drunken Noodle with seafood was also a thumbs up. The spiciness kicked in after a few seconds, but it was pleasant and made it memorable. The Crab Fried Rice was also good. The overall flavor was mild, and it was tasty. The Iced Thai Tea was specially paired well with the food we ordered. It helped reduce the spiciness of the Drunken Noodle. The restaurant was tastefully decorated, and the service was top-notch. We highly recommend this restaurant.

I was excite to find wild pork on its menu. Unlike the version I was introduced, Finn’s version doesn’t include Thai eggplant. But it was still very good. Crispy duck was good but it wish it was more crisper.

The restaurant has cafe vibe and service was good. There was only one server working and the restaurant was filling up as we finished lunch.

5/11/24 While wild pork is still outstanding, chili basil is a bit disappointing.

Nice comfortable setting for a meal alone, as a couple, or as a group. Prompt friendly service. ♥️ Excellent soups and “drunken noodles” with steamed tofu! Home-feel atmosphere with a wall of bookshelves!

Yet another one of those uncommon places where the staff clearly take pride in their restaurant, their work, and their food. The atmosphere is incredibly relaxing and the food is always delicious. The staff are very kind and courteous, always leaving with me with good vibes whenever I leave the restaurant (along with a happy stomach). Great place for a relatively affordable, filling-yet-light, and quality lunch or dinner.
