I had some surprisingly good steak tacos. They were pretty big and very tasty. Service was fast and the employees were very friendly. It’s not a fancy place but it’s always pretty busy so that definitely says something about a good neighborhood place.

Got a double cheese burger with everything on it, small fry, and a strawberry shake. Best burger I’ve had in a long time. Burger was huge, juicy, and cooked to perfection. The small fry I got was also huge. They were absolutely the perfect hand cut fry. Shake was very good. Everything was made to order. Ill Definitely be back.

The cashier was very friendly and welcoming. She took my order and made pleasant small talk. The place is small and offers a counter inside, if you’d like to eat there. It also has a patio, with outdoor seating which is nice. I’ll be back based on the customer service alone. During this particular visit, I had the two hotdog special, which comes with fries. The fries were hot and the hot dog was good too.

As much as I like the Oak Forest location, this location let me down. Ordered the hot dog special, fries and two hot dogs. The fresh cut fries were spot on, but the hot dogs let me down. Both hot dogs were barely warm from start.

They call it the Bengal Burger, 8 patties, cheese, and some typical toppings. Honestly who needs something like this? Luckily I shared with two others. Now this is the 2nd time I’ve been there, 1st time I had the Hotdog special, Chicago Style, dragged through the garden, comes with fries and a drink. I did not want to just write a review off the Hot Dog experience, which I want to say as far as it goes, It’s right up there with other top dog places. In other words they hold there own. However the burger was not the experience I was hoping for. The meat just had an odd taste to it. So the dog experience gets a 5 star, but the burger get’s a 1. So balancing it out I give Nicky V’s a 3. P.S. They have good fries.
