Such a fun spot! We’ve been here a few times now and really love the options! We’ve had gelato and coffee and even set up for a few hours to do some work/studying. A great spot and super cozy!
The gelato is imported straight from Italy and the coffee is made from all fresh, in-house ingredients. I highly recommend both!

I walked by this store a few weeks ago and thought it looked so quaint. I loved all the seating options outside and the fact it had stuff to keep your kids entertained as well. I went in and tried gelato for the first time, Samantha was working and very helpful with making my flavor choice. It was absolutely delicious! Samantha made my first visit very memorable and is an absolute gem! She is so friendly, welcoming, and clearly proud of the work she does. I look forward to.going back and trying more flavors. Sure fun place!

I am not exaggerating when I say this gelato is BETTER than every gelato I’ve ever had in Italy. Wow! Blown away. Definitely recommended the Carmel Macchiato with the Milk Cream. Cant wait to come back and try every flavor.
The patio area is also super cute and relaxing. Love the option of coffee on the side with Villa Meola right in the same space too.

The new husband-and-wife owners are bringing great energy, and it shows in both the coffee and the service. Their **beautiful new patio** with comfortable, stylish furniture is perfect for relaxing or catching up with friends. Highly recommend everyone stop by and try Villa Meola Coffee—you’ll be glad you did!

Great gellato dished up by one of the friendliest guys you’ll ever meet. Flavors are delicious and smooth, made in-house from ingredients imported from Italy. Prices are reasonable. And they have a “little library” and quaint kids play kitchenette area. Super glad we discovered Gelato Cimmino!

This place was meh. It gives a sterile kind of atmosphere. Im thinking that it might be new. Its a large place for a gelato shop and lacks appeal. The gelato was more on the runnier side and if i didnt mention that the waffle cone includes two flavors then the server wouldnt have told me. She just handed the cone over. When i asked for the second flavor she scooped out some of the first scoop. WTH. I wont be back esp with that California price. At least in Laguna Beach, theres decor, better flavors and better quality gelato and excellent customer service.

Awesome and fair priced gelato!! Games inside which is great for kids! Got the pistacho and coconut and it was incredible. Husband got Chimmino which was delectable. Great service. The lady let us try soo many samples when we were unsure. Thoroughly enjoyed our experience here.

This place is amazing! The gelato is super creamy and full of flavor, but the peanut butter gelato is next level—so rich, smooth, and perfectly peanut-buttery. Easily one of the best I’ve ever had! The staff is really friendly, and the whole vibe is just great. If you love gelato, you have to try this place!

Gelato is great but what makes this establishment stand out is the above and beyond consideration of children. The play area is great at keeping little ones busy while you enjoy ice-cream and a game. The bathrooms have diapers and wipes which is what drove me to write this review. Outstanding!!

So there’s a new coffee spot in town sharing space with the gelato shop — Villa Meola Coffee, run by a husband-and-wife duo. The coffee is fantastic, with a smooth Italian twist that’s a refreshing change from the usual Starbucks routine. Definitely worth a visit — you won’t be disappointed!
