This place is still getting on it’s feet but off to a great start! We had the 1/4lb burger, fried pretzel, and burger kids meal. The owner was so sweet and awesome, he explained how the burgers were mixed and never frozen, yay! The burgers were so tasty on the most pillowy delicious bun, simple and delish! Fries are perfectly crispy and salted. The pretzel was a miss for us, mostly too hard, but if they were fresh they would be amazing. We also got a free bag of homemade freeze dried candy. The atmosphere needs some work but there is absolute love in the food and looking forward to another visit!

So, bit of a long story here. Sherman’s used to be a roadside ice cream/food place on the border of Girard and Springfield. About 10 years ago. My family and I went there at least once a week because the food was so amazing and the team running it were the best. Always friendly, always amazing food. When they closed we were legitimately upset. They had the kind of food that gets brought up at family gatherings out of the blue, like “remember the yellow jacket burger or the Chicago dog? ” Anyway, they’re back, and it’s everything my memory made it out to be all over again but now with amazing baked goods too! I’m so happy. Come and check them out.

Went for the first time this week. Went back a second time in the same week. Great food and the staff was very friendly. First time I got the Reuben griller (12”) and chocolate/pb shake. Both were very good. Tender meat, fresh bread. The shake tastes just like Breyers chocolate pb. Went back a couple days later and got the 1/3# burger and large Cajun fries. Both were excellent. I’ll be going back soon for sure.

Everything was so delicious! The fries are perfectly crisp outside and soft inside. The buns are deliciously toasted and add a special something to both the Yellowjacket and the Shermanator. Definitely coming again!

Decided on going here after looking around for a place to eat and was not disappointed, ordered a sub and gravy fries. The sub was delicious and filling, I will say the gravy fries though were a bit too salty but were still good ( have not seen a place with gravy fries in a long time so props to them for having them in the first place). Will definitely be coming back

Our first visit to Sherman’s.. We got the Spaghetti and Meatballs and the Italian Combo Sub (hot). Both were so good. The bread and salad that came with the spaghetti were also very good and fresh! My kids enjoyed the chocolate cookies from the bakery part. We will definitely be back!

This place has SERIOUSLY delicious food. Don’t let the building fool you. It isn’t just ice cream stand fare. Amazing sandwiches (grilled cheese hot dog and meatball sub- yum!!!) and onion rings and the menu is HUGE. Looking forward to trying more items! Go here. Thank me later. ☺️

Finally made it out to Fairview to try this restaurant. I’m so glad I did! I have heard rave reviews about their yellowjacket burger, but honestly can’t eat a sandwich that big so I opted for the smaller version, the jacket junior. It was sooo good (and i still had to give up the last bite to my friend because it’s so filling) The fries were hot and delicious and my peanut butter shake was so yummy (they use Reese’s peanut butter!! My fav!)
I will definitely be back! I was so full from my dinner, I forgot to buy any baked goods to take home 🙁 You know I’ll be making sure I get some next time!
