The service was great!!! I ordered my meal online and went to pick it up. When I received it I realized they had made my order wrong. I called and spoke to a worker and she was very sweet and helpful!!! She corrected my order very quickly and was super friendly about it! Wow. Wrong order. No paper towels in bathroom. But the worst of all was an incident with the clogged ice machine. When I alerted David to the problem he responded with, “Just treat it like your spouse who’s not listening to you,” and banged on it with his fist. A domestic violence joke in front of me and my 7 year old daughter? Extremely unprofessional and classless. Do better.

Very atypical of my experience at Jimmy John’s. Quite possibly the slowest I’ve ever received a sandwich. Ordered 20-25 minutes ahead of time as were traveling and wanted to stop for something that’s not fried.. figured it would be done when we got there, could pick it up and leave. Order was placed at 2:28 local time, we left the store almost exactly an hour after I ordered these six sandwiches.

While we were at the store, the bathroom seems to be without hot water, a trickle at best came out when I turned the faucet on, making me wonder about cleanliness. At least employees were wearing and changing gloves I suppose. After that, I got my own and chips and drinks, no problem. We sat for a few expecting just maybe it was still being made, as they had several tickets. People kept trickling in and sitting down, no orders coming out to speak of.

I approached the counter and maybe 2-3 minutes of someone standing there touching the screen and not acknowledging me passed, they looked up finally and asked what they could do for me. I asked for a status on my mobile order and he looked over and moved the receipt and let me know I’d be first priority.

25 minutes go by, I went to check again and my things were done and sitting on the back counter?

I think the highlight of this adventure was when I was standing at the register the second time checking on our order about 45 minutes in, there was a man taking call in orders at their delivery screens, pretty normal. He hung the phone up and not sure if he was having some sort of medical emergency or strung out on Indiana’s finest methamphetamine. It was fairly long lived, whatever it was, as he laid his head against the soap dispenser behind the counter with his eyes closed until the phone rang and he turned to lay down against the small countertop by the phones again when it rang. Looked fairly peaceful but really puts a damper on the family-friendly sandwich vibe.

Jimmy John’s is always good. The young lady that was working in the drive-thru needs a little more training. She did not get our sandwiches right. We also had to repeat ourselves numerous times. The sandwiches are always great, even if we had to take the tomato off of it.

Just passing through and not wanting fast food. Ordered for ASAP; 20 minutes before we arrived. Went to use the bathroom, no toilet paper. Went to wash hands, no warm water came out when I turned the handle. I’m still waiting for my food as a I type this. The whole restaurant is kinda nasty.

They need to start using people’s names for orders instead of reading off the sandwich label. People/employees dont know which food is for which person. If you used names it would be far superior. Puts more stress on everyone involved.
