Went there today (for the first time) and they were busy with all the seats full. The owner saw us and came over to say it would be about 15 minutes but if we wanted to use their new dining room that is under construction we could. We agreed and went upstairs to their new seating area. The owner was a nice guy and he I told us about the history of his restaurant and where it is headed. Food was great and the view from the upstairs dining area was nice. What started as a kind gesture to get us seated faster , combined with good food, felt like a VIP experience. Will definitely be back because there is a lot of menu items left to try.

Good food and worth a little side quest to get there, my only issue is dining area is too small (but I know they are adding to that), staff is hopping thru order with small town friendliness. Food was very good, top notch tenderloin, and the fries are sooo good! For the owner 2 suggestions, tenderloin tenders with gravy, and chili cheese those frys!

Small in house area it’s better suited for ordering your food to take with you I kinda felt rushed after we had gotten our food
I tried there tenderloin and it was pretty decent it was thick and juicy but it seemed like it needed something added to the dredge for the breading
I would like to try the pizza

Limited seating, but extremely good food! Got the large tenderloin with smoked Gouda cheese, definitely sufficient to serve two people. The tenderloin is well seasoned and very thick!

This place is a local gem! The wings are amazing. No sauce needed! The fries are hand cut and perfectly seasoned. But the tenderloin…. Oh my. Do yourself a favor and get the XL with three extra buns… you will need it.

Good space inside and out. Only a handful of tables inside with a large bar. Worth the quick drive for takeout though. We will be back and this will be one of our monthly spots! Thanks for the great service.

Small place, with giant tenderloin. Fast, friendly service. Server was busting her ass running all tables, bar, and call in orders. Im sure cook was in weeds or near it. This place has one of the best tenderloin in Indiana. Thick, juicy, and properly seasoned breading. Excellent fries. I will recommend to anyone who wants an amazing tenderloin. Get there early or be prepared to either wait or get it to go. It is worth it to plan your visit with enough time to get these amazing tenderloin. Other food looked good as well.

Enjoyed a Large Breaded Tenderloin with my husband. You can request another bun if wanted. We have tried a lot of Breaded Tenderloins in our travels. This is one of our two best we have found. The meat was thick and breading was light with great seasoning! The tenderloin was cooked to perfection! We were in town for a car show and so glad we stopped, service was great, restaurant was clean and neat, everyone was very nice. Bonus-They have great brewed ice tea!

This place is definitely going to be a new staple in my top restaurants. Great food. Good atmosphere. It is similar to the lemon drop in seating, so smaller area, but definitely worth it. I sadly didnt get pictures of my food this time. I just wanted to dive on in. I had the steak sandwiches (which is a big size) it was delicious, had to take half home. Husband had the western burger i believe. He really enjoyed it. The fries were everything. Nothing beats an actual hand cut fry. I loved the turtle parfait. Overall very enjoyable.
The service was amazing. The servers were definitely hard workers. You can tell how loved this place is. They had people waiting to be seated, along with walk in to go orders, along with the phone never stopped ringing for people to place to go orders. Definitely a beloved place in this very serene town.

Chasing tenderloins across Indiana was so worth the 1 1/2 hour trip from home. My husband and I shared one of their large tenderloins, it even comes with an extra bun upon request. And their french fries are fresh cut with a seasoning that makes them so delicious. Great meal!
We also got the chicken bacon ranch pizza, for lunch the following day, of course we had to try a piece while it was hot, and let me tell you it was so, incredibly delicious! And when reheated the following day it was still delicious. We Recommend this The Grill-A 100%!
The place is small but still managed to hold a large family of nine while we there. People were friendly.
Great small town atmosphere!
They gave carry out service as well and it was really booming.
We did over here one of the employees telling another customer that they were going to be expanding upstairs, to give them twice the amount of seating that they have now. We didn’t actually count every seat but our “memory count” would be about 22 to 24 people.

Hidden gem. Everything is fresh made and amazing. We had the snack tenderloin, which alone makes 2 meals, and some boneless wings. All were tenderloin, juicey and amazing.
