Average, decent coffee. No roast dates on the marketed sacks. It looks like they have adequate equipment for roasting and brewing at their coffee house in Osborne, Kansas. Their flavored coffee seems to sell briskly enough on the shelves at Gene’s in Smith Center, Kansas. I buy the the whole bean House Blend occasionally and grind it at level 7 in a Baratza Encore and brew it with an ‘antique’ Breville using a standard non-pressurized basket filter, 51mm, between 14 and 16 grams, yield from 45 to 60 ml. The local water is hard. I filter it with a Pur portable, and mix it 60/40 (or to taste) with distilled or RO water. Without roast dates I think it’s slightly overpriced.

One of the best coffee shops I’ve been to! I love that they roast their own beans and the iced coffee was delicious. It was a great pick me up as we drove through Kansas. This was worth the trip!

Their coffee is so smooth, none of that bitterness. Very accommodating and friendly service.
