I had dinner at Rick Erwin’s Greer last night with a group of nine to celebrate a birthday, and it was such a great experience. Our table tried a wide variety of entrées, every single dish that came out was spot on — cooked perfectly, full of flavor, and beautifully presented. It’s hard to please a group that size, but they absolutely nailed it.
The service was impeccable — attentive, professional, and perfectly timed throughout the evening without ever feeling stuffy. The general manager, Dawson, stopped by our table not only to support his staff but to personally check on guests, which really stood out to us.
I ordered the Raspberry Club cocktail and the salmon entree. Both were delicious!!! It was a wonderful night and we cannot wait to dine in again.

While Rick Erwin’s operates multiple establishments, this particular location provided an exceptional experience.
The service perfectly embodied the standards of fine dining. Observing the dining room, I noted that the staff consistently engaged with their tables, beverages were promptly refilled, meals were delivered in a timely manner, and patrons appeared very happy and full of smiles & laughs. Our server, Christopher, provided exceptional service and was very attentive. The General Manager, David, was observed circulating among the tables, inquiring about guests’ satisfaction with their evening and dining experience. He checked on us multiple times and it made us feel like our opinions were important. It made the dining experience welcoming.
Now to the food, we ordered oysters on the half shell and the burrata as appetizers. The oysters were exceptionally fresh and not too briney. The burrata offered a delightful and refreshing experience, enhanced by the mint and green pea puree. For our main courses, we selected the Truffle Pasta with filet, the Surf & Turf (featuring filet and crab cake), the Dry-Aged Delmonico Ribeye with truffle butter, and the Linz Heritage New York Strip with truffle butter, amongst our party of four. I would like to commend the culinary team on the impeccable preparation of the steaks, which were cooked to the precise temperatures requested. While the Delmonico was well-prepared, a slight increase in seasoning would have further elevated its flavor profile, and I found myself marginally preferring the New York Strip. The pappardelle was cooked al dente – Chef’s Kiss!
I would definitely visit this location again!

I dined here last night with a large group, and it was a fantastic experience from start to finish. Our servers, Luke and Christopher, were attentive and comical. Our table ordered a wide variety of dishes, and every single one looked incredible and tasted just as amazing. Not a single person had a complaint—everything was absolutely delicious. I specifically tried the Truffle Pasta and the Raspberry Club Cocktail. I would definitely recommend this spot for both great food and an enjoyable atmosphere!

My wife & I decided to try Rick Erwin’s in Greer for our anniversary based on the overall positive online reviews. I don’t know if we caught them on an off night, or if maybe we didn’t order the correct food, but our impression of the food was not on par with other reviews. First we chose this location based on options they were showing on their menu online, only to find the menu on their website wasn’t correct. Overall the taste of the food was not what we were expecting for the price point. Maybe it was just personal preference, but neither of us felt like the food we received was worth what we paid. Honestly part of each of the entrees that we ordered we simply didn’t eat because of the way they tasted. The redeeming aspects were the services, which was very attentive and the ambiance which was nice, but based on our personal experience, the food was not on the same level and was lacking. Based on the experience we had with the food, I would personally say it is simply not worth what you end up paying.

All in all our experience at the Greer location was sub-par at best. When I made reservations, I am quite certain I made sure to let them know it was our anniversary which did not seem to matter upon our arrival even with stating it to the hostess. However the hostess was an absolute pleasure and really tried to be very accommodating considering the situation she was in. The night started out with the only 2 table open being right in the middle of the walk way at the front entrance to the dining area, right in the middle of where EVERYBODY walks by on both sides of us (servers, customers, etc…). Less than comfortable arrangement. We tried the outside seating but it got cold pretty quick. Fast forward to the food, come to find out there was no menu provided for non-alcoholic drinks which was irritating (they offered to make a mocktail but there was only a selection of 5 drinks and none of which seemed good) so we stuck with water. We chose the 3 for 49$ deal. Really great deal as long as the food is fresh. My salmon was great I really liked it. However, my wife ordered the shrimp Alfredo pasta and since we dont eat shellfish, she asked to substitute the shrimp for chicken which they did, however where it went wrong was you can tell the Alfredo was made with shrimp and all they did with her food was pick out the shrimp and threw in some cut up chicken (thank goodness she doesn’t have a shellfish allergy) it tasted very heavily of shrimp which was NOT a good pairing with the chicken (they should have told us it was all cooked together, we would have picked a different dish). Plus, the noodles that were outside the sauce were very dry when placing the plate in front of her (I noticed someone else got the same dish and the first thing I noticed while they walked by was how dry and off colored the noodles looked). The desert was amazing. They did a great job with the key lime pie and the creme brulee was almost perfect (there was one spot i bit into that was burnt). Not to mention when given our desserts there was supposed to be sparklers however there was none until we were about to leave and was a last thought, solidifying our anniversary was not their first priority but more of the fuller table guests. Outside of the food and seating there was one more issue, my wife and I could not hear each other at all. We had to talk extremely loud which makes our conversations not as personal and we were not able to enjoy each other’s company. Overall highly disappointed in this experience and additionally disappointed to book it on our anniversary and not being able to even talk with my wife.

Party of four for a busy New Years Eve. Excellent attention by ample staff including a manager checked by in with us. Only complaint my husband asked for no anchovies but they were in his salad. Thank goodness there’s no allergy. My steak was perfect as I ordered it. Filet mignon. The tables were perfectly set with linen and staffed maintained the crumbs during the meal. Sure enjoyed our meals.

This has so far been our favorite dining experience in all of Greenville County. Our server was Tristan, who was beyond excellent. Every dish we ordered from the bacon appetizer to the creme brulee and key lime pie was absolutely amazing. I cannot recommend this restaurant enough. This will be our new top go-to restaurant.

We drove an hour and 20 mins to this restaurant to celebrate our 10th wedding anniversary and it did not disappoint! We didn’t realize we needed a reservation, which is definitely recommended, as they were very busy! They told us we could sit at the bar and order full service from the menu. We started off with prickly pear margaritas and she Crab soup as an appetizer and shared the 11oz surf and turf steak and crab cake with Oscar enhancement as our meal. We subbed fingerling potatoes and crispy Brussels with bacon jam as our sides. Everything was absolutely delicious! I also ordered the Smoked Bourbon old fashioned bc it looked like fun and I enjoyed watching them make it!
