Great customer service let’s start by saying it’s an amazing family owned business their prices and menu is affordable and reasonable I order the Wally rib dinner plate comes with 3 pieces or ribs with the tip and 2 sides for $20 the sides are optional i choose Mac and cheese with collard greens and a extra side of candied yams for $4.99 each side that’s not included with the meal is $4.99 a piece the portions they give you is worth it we came at night an hour before they’re closed the food was fresh and served fast. The restaurant it self was well maintained and cleaned my food alone was only 24.99. It also a little convenient store inside they have drinks as well as alcoholic drinks and some more miscellaneous items pictures are below 10/10 must try the collard greens were fantastic the candied yams as well as the ribs tender and juicy and the sauce drizzled on top a chefs kiss. The Mac was late right it’s a 7/10 definitely recommend spot menu and videos below

We have ordered from Wally’s a few times. Their ribs are good, tasty sauce, and we enjoyed their candied yams. Would recommend!

I had my first experience today and the food was amazing. I ordered the rib and chicken combo with Mac and cheese and collard greens as my sides also ordered a side of potato salad and yams . When I say delicious and the staff was so friendly they give you a nice amount for your money. I’ll be back soon…..

Last minute eat out. BBQ has always been one of my go-tos unfortunately I didn’t too much care for this place. However the collard greens was 100% excellent no complaints, Hot too! The “yams” was more like mashed sweet potatoes didn’t look like the photos. Won’t get again. The ribs was extremely dry as if they was over cooked or in a warmer too long. Very dry and chewy. I’d maybe only get a side of greens if I was to ever visit again. Nice staff. By the way meat was cold no type of

It was so good! Really a hidden gem. Family owned business, great service! Food was made fresh upon order. Super polite, wait time wasn’t too long, it was definitely worth it! For the price you do get a large amount of food! My boyfriend and I shared a dinner, and they were so thoughtful just how the order was put together once they knew we’d be sharing. Love the food no complaints, sauce is delicious! Come eat here !!!

The food was pretty good. I’d give a 3.7 out of 5. It didn’t completely blow my mind but I was passing through Fort Lauderdale for a day and wanted some good soul food so I’m soo glad it wasn’t 100% disappointing. The meatballs were great. The sauce on them complimented well. I would definitely order them again. The greens were good as well as the yams. The Mac and cheese was extremely dry and because they were so dry they weren’t very flavorful. That was pretty disappointing. Good portion sizes. I was able to get full for lunch and still have some left overs for dinner. I should mention I did doordash this food. It was warm when it arrived so I don’t think dashing had much affect on my ratings and opinions. I paid roughly $22 for this. Pretty adorable.

When I’m in Fort Lauderdale, I always go here to get food. Each time I’ve gone, there have been improvements done. It looks good, and I’m sure it will be a great chill spot. The owner is very friendly from day 1.

The food here is amazing! Mac and cheese hot and creamy but flavorful, the rice was good and the Chicken was amazing like this is really good bbq! Fresh and the bbq sauce is one of the best I have had, and I’m from NC so I know good bbq. This place is definitely a hidden gem!

So I wanted bar b que for a couple days now and knew some tried and true spots, but wanted to try a new place. I made an online order and specifically stated, “I didn’t want bread” with my meals. I also asked for “sauce on the side”. Something urged me to check the order before leaving. Of COURSE, what was in there, you guessed it! The BREAD! And what was missing, yep, that’s correct, the sauce. And that probably wouldn’t have been so bad if the attitudes of the workers was more welcoming and pleasant. Why do people choose to work places to give lack luster service? It’s beyond me. I mean not even a welcome or a smile. Just a grimace and annoyance on their faces. This is why a lot of these non franchise spots don’t last very long. But hey, it was a one and done for me. I tried it and I am a quick study. Thanks but no thanks to Wally’s Soul Food.
