10/10 – A Birthday Experience Done RIGHT
I celebrated my birthday at Hal’s The Steakhouse and when I say they rolled out the red carpet… I mean they understood the assignment.
From the moment we walked in, the energy was upscale but welcoming. The ambiance? Grown. Sexy. Elevated. The kind of place where you sit up straight and sip slow.
Now let’s talk about Keke. Baby. She didn’t just serve us she curated the experience. Attentive without hovering. Knowledgeable without being rehearsed. She made recommendations, checked in at the right moments, and made sure my birthday felt celebrated, not just acknowledged.
The steak? 10/10. Perfectly cooked, seasoned beautifully, and served like it had something to prove. The sides were rich and indulgent, and every bite felt intentional. No shortcuts. Just quality.
What impressed me most was the hospitality. They made me feel important. Not rushed. Not overlooked. Just valued. And that’s rare.

Picked this steakhouse for my wife & I to have our Anniversary dinner at. From the ambience, the staff and waitress, to the food were all amazing! The appetizer bread they brought out was really good. Our steaks were cooked perfectly, so juicy & tender. Since I mentioned it was our anniversary when making the reservation, we had a Happy Anniversary card at our table when we were seated. We also received a complimentary dessert with “Happy Anniversary” dusted from cocoa powder on the plate. It was a wonderful experience and we’ll definitely be back!

The food was cooked to perfection. The wagyu appetizer they recommended was phenomenal. It was a literal definition of melting in your mouth. All the sides we tried were delicious as well. For example, you might wonder how a side mushroom can have a differentiator, but Hal’s delivered.
The beverage offering was on the classic side. Extensive wine list and spirit, but they don’t offer cocktails other than the very classic ones. Think of martini, old fashioned and not much beyond that.

Came here last night to celebrate my fiancés birthday. Definitely started off horrible due to the extremely rude hostess Ivy. She was so condescending and rude to us. I had surprised my fiancé and made this reservation as we have been really wanting to try this place. I had showed her my reservation both text and email and she argued me down saying it didn’t exist. She told me I can sit at the bar or wait until they find me an available table. She was being so combative and really almost ruined our experience. However, after speaking to a manager we were seated and we had an amazing server her name was Keke. She’s awesome! Ivy however needs to work on her customer service. We loved the food but I don’t know if we will be back. Because it felt as if she ( Ivy the host )was trying to belittle us a bit.

Great atmosphere, great food, great service. We made a reservation for my boyfriend’s birthday. I would have loved to be downstairs to enjoy the live music which he was instantly excited about. Instead we were taken upstairs to a corner table.

We took our son here for his birthday. What an amazing place and delicious food. The live music was an absolute blast! Dinner entrees were amazing. The sea bass was moist and cooked perfectly. Highly recommend Hal’s The Steakhouse! We will be back! Craig was our server & he was fantastic!

Great service, warm and inviting atmosphere. Food was too notch- fresh and cooked perfectly. At our table there was surf and turf, bone in ribeye, and I had the filet mingeon (pictured) We shared the Brussel sprouts, lobster Mac and cheese, and asparagus–I would highly reccomend all- but these were the best brussels I’ve ever eaten! Dessert was great as well, we did the lava cake, strawberry cheesecake and their Tiramisu- so so so good! If we ever go back in town, we will make a reservation.

Food and service was good- however my spouse and I had upset stomachs later in the night. I also thought it was a bit pricey for the food. For 6 meals- cocktails- 3 side orders because most meals did not come with a side. It was about $900.00.
