A huge shout out and thank you to the wait staff, the bartenders being able to tolerate all of the kids & the size of our party. I sincerely apologize for some of the running around! Some of our friends had never been to Tahoe AleWorx before & they loved the food & atmosphere. Definitely returning customers!
Not only did I meet Jason & others from the wait staff, but I also got to meet the owner, Luca (sorry if I spelled that wrong!). Very nice, excellent customer service, & the prices for booking a space & food/drinks was very reasonable. I HIGHLY recommend this restaurant/venue & they have a forever customer .
When I arrived the downstairs bartender sent me to the Rooftop where I gladly enjoyed the beautiful weather. It was absolutely superb on this beautiful June night.
I was promptly greeted by the server, but when I asked for the tap list, I was told they only had three home taps on the rooftop along with three piss water guest taps. That was rather disappointing. Hey brewery that doesn’t offer all of their own taps is kind of weird. They didn’t bother offering to deliver beer from downstairs.
Other than that, the food was excellent, the beer was well above average. I had both the hazy IPA and the cold IPA.
The wedge salad was fresh and well appointed, however $20 is a lot to spend on some lettuce.
The margherita pie with pepperoni added, and the blueberry pie were both excellent.
The wings had great flavor, however they must be baked because the skin was soggy instead of crispy.
I would go back a hundred times for that pizza though! It was perfect.
All in all I definitely recommend a visit … first for the pizza then the incredible rooftop views if you have agreeable weather.
So when I saw they had one in Reno, on 4th where Record St. Brewing was, I rushed over there to partake.
The woodsy interior ambience is awesome, and our waitress was very congenial.
The wall of beers are still good, and they have plenty of choices.
The pizza seemed a little smaller and the crust was not quite as good (maybe it’s the Tahoe water?)
I had a Shrimp Ceviche, which should have been called Ceviche with a hint of Shrimp.
My daughter had a sandwich, and didn’t like the bread and described it as underwhelming.
The upside is, overall it’s a good choice during happy hour and as long as you don’t mind the un-housed walking by the front windows, it a great go to in the Brewery District.
Got the old fashion, really good. Grabbed Caesar salad and pizza to go, both were great. Will definitely be back with some friends to dine in and check out the upstairs
Haven’t had a dining experience like in forever!
