Choose restaurant based on a high rating, but extremely disappointed on their dried out reheated Carne Asada! Ordered Chili Colorado based on manager recommendation and as mentioned the meat was dried out, tough and grizzly. The sauce was very good and spicy! My friend ordered Carne Asada Quesadilla and had the same experience with the Asada. Kicking my self for not asking for a replacement, but won’t make that mistake again. The service was good, besides the server talking on her phone on her ear buds. Very nice decor

Portions sizes justify the prices. But a few things could be better.
For example, the burritos are large and filling. But the small cheese dip is half a bowl. The small bowl is normally served in so half of that. The salsa is really good, but they only serve Pepsi products. So it’s definitely a give and take.

Overall the food was good, and we’ll prepared. So, there are no complaints about quality or portion sizes. Just wish you got more cheese dip and they served Coke.

This was our first visit. The service was good. We both ordered the same thing. It came out hot and delicious! The drinks were good. We asked for to go boxes and the meat and veggies were still hot. We’ll be back!

6/24 Stopped in for another quick bite. Love the authentic hearty chips and salsa, but the guacamole is very creamy and green, but not very avocado-ish. *PSA -The Happy Hour 2 for 1 special only applies to One person. We ordered 2 draft beers but they charged us the Single price each.

5/23 Hidden Gem! Don’t let the plain exterior fool you, the food is Fresh, Hot, and very tasty! Great daily specials too! – We popped in for a late lunch. First impressions: The remodel is great, nicely done with beautiful murals. Fresh Hot Real Corn Chips served with a chunky Salsa. Yum! He had the Speedy Gonzalez (Thurs. Special); I had the Shrimp salad and Taco. The portions are very generous and I took most of the salad home. -We’ll be back!

We had the Chicken Fajitas. They were delicious! Caramelized onions and peppers with chicken. One order was enough for the two of us to split.

I tried the beef taco but didn’t like the odd spice in it. The spice tasted out of place and the ground beef was ” gamey” gamey. That said, the salsa and chips were fresh and flavorful. We would dine here again.
The staff were good, quick and polite.

Wow! All I can say is wow! Halls finally got a Mexican restaurant worth 5 stars! The inside of the restaurant has been renovated beautifully and is so colorful! The murals are amazing! Wait staff was super friendly and helpful explaining the menu. There was so much selection to choose from but even more they had less typical dishes and more authentic! Huge portions of salsa and fresh creamy guacamole, chips were nice and crispy. “Street corn” was so tasty and we got 4 to share. The Carnitas, ugh soooooo tender and huge chunks, fresh avocado slices and whole jalapeños on the side. We left full and with boxes. Definitely a new family favorite.

It was the first time we came here. I also ordered a sweet tea with a lemon wedge. It was good. They salsa was pretty good. Not too spicy not bland just in between.

I also ordered the Chicken Flautas. It comes with 2 fried tortillas filled with chicken. It comes with refried beans, rice, lettuce, tomatoes, sour cream and some cheese. My husband has the fish tacos. They were good but he had to order chipotle sauce as it was not included. They charged us .55¢.

It was not too busy yet. They were playing jovial Mexican music.

This is a fairly new Mexican restaurant to the area. The ambience is a little half and half, no painted tables etc. But it was not busy on a Saturday early evening which was very nice. I got to watch the football game. They have Pacifico on tap which is rare. My wife ordered the Flautas con Pollo and I got the Tacos de Pescado Estilo Sinaloa. The fish tacos came out dry with all the condiments on the side, I asked for chipotle sauce. Apparently they didn’t have it but rather than tell me they didn’t have it they made some on the fly. It wasn’t the right color but it tasted yummy. It also made the fish tacos stand out. Service was always friendly, helpful but not quite to the point of intrusive. I also ate some of my wife’s rice and beans and they were excellent as well. The chips were hot and fresh, the salsa was not gringo (it was good unless you don’t like spice). I guess that’s about all I can say here, there were some points of the interior that could have been more Hispanic but it was not off-putting.

The best torta I’ve ever had! They’ve got all the staples of a Mexican restaurant but also a bunch of special things that are hard to find. Super clean and cute dining room and the server was kind to my little girl.

This place checks all my boxes for an authentic Mexican restaurant. I really appreciate their free chips and salsa, fast, considerate service, and good food. It is affordable and good value but flavorful
