I had an amazing experience here.
The food was absolutely delicious — every dish was full of flavor, fresh, and beautifully prepared. You can tell the chefs truly know what they’re doing; the quality and presentation were outstanding.
The service was exceptional as well. Everyone was kind, attentive, and made us feel genuinely welcome. It’s rare to find a place where both the food and the staff are this good.
The atmosphere of the restaurant is warm, clean, and inviting — the kind of place where you immediately feel comfortable and want to come back.
Highly recommended. I would give it more than five stars if I could.

We held our daughters wedding reception at Events by Saker in August of 2021. The place was a hit! Everyone loved the venue and LOVED the food! Being able to get the food, venue, bar, and music taken care of, all at one place, was such a load off our minds, and made planning the wedding reception so much simpler. It really saved us a lot of time, too. The staff are all really friendly and Tony was very accommodating, too. Would 450% recommend Events by Saker to anyone!

The place was fairly busy but not full. The wait staff was friendly. They have a lot of options on their menu. I had the Cuban wrap and fries and both were tasty. They have some cheesecake and regular cake for dessert that look outstanding but I didn’t try. I will have to come back again and have a piece.

This operation is actually called Events sports bar and Grill. They have a banquet hall and on the other side a bar/restaurant. Staff was very friendly and the decor was very fitting. Highly suggest the chocolate moose cake! Decent menu and food, can’t complain. A bit expensive but a very nice place to go for a dinner and drink.

All I can say is wow. The owner, Tony, served us personally and everything was above and beyond. I had a walleye sandwich with a home made tartar sauce. The fish was light and flaky and tasted fresh! The breading was complimentary and not overwhelming at all. Wife had nachos. The chips were solid and the toppings were plentiful and tasty. Two others shared a Chipotle chicken wrap which was also well received. The fries were hot, light, crispy, and tasty! Four kids each had Alfredo which was home made quality and huge portions! Then Tony brought out the big guns- the pictured desert which was an oreo cheesecake straight out of heaven. Will definitely be ordering for future events/ birthdays.
Overall, it was an absolutely A+ experience. Tony is the type of business owner you feel great about supporting, as his passion is evident in the quality and service. The prices were on par for the typical bar and grill, but the quality was unimpeachable. No question that it is worth a short drive from Rochester for this type of dining experience.
Update: went back after taking the kids to the fair (with the food prices there, you may as well go sit down somewhere) and we were again rewarded with awesome food. It’s clear that they have their process down pat when it comes to breaded/ fried foods, as the breading is always light, crispy, and not drenched in oil. The sweet chili wings could have had a little extra heat but I’m sure that’s where most prefer them. They were done to perfection, with a crisp outer shell, and a good amount of juicy, flavorful chicken on the bones. I would absolutely recommend this place to any friends and family, as you get what you expect, with the quality that you hope for.

Came to Saker’s to relax. Had cheese curds as an appetizer. So light and tasty! Decided to stay for dinner. I had the walleye with wild rice and salad bar. My husband had Fettuccine Alfredo with chicken. Absolutely delicious! We were personally served by Tony who is the owner! It was such a pleasure to meet him. I am so glad that Saker’s is just a short distance from Rochester. We’ll definitely be back. Thank you Tony!

I can say that my Fiancée is very picky and she loved the food here and said it was excellent and she does not say that often, She ordered Nacho’s that were an Appetizer and OMG I am not exaggerating they were piled 6 inches high and the plate was 9 inches, she ordered something else her and I have way different tastes. I ordered a Ribeye very little fat, tender and cooked to perfection, they made exceptions to the sides because of my dietary issues which I thought was very nice, Many places attitude are like “Oh well you can’t have what we offer as sides, tough you can go without” or just pick one and we can throw it out But our waiter I don’t know his name was awesome. , The drink menu had some unusual named and mixology type drinks which I tried one and it was very good. The service was great, He and several other people checked to make sure we had enough to drink, if we needed water or anything else.
Just a reminder their serving portions are big, but their cheese cake is AWESOME, so order it and take it home as a midnight snack and Holy hell the size of slice you get can feed a family of 5. My fiancée and I had to eat it in 2 different sittings.
