Le Petit Bleu in the Garden District was such a charming stop during my trip. The café is absolutely adorable, and the atmosphere felt so welcoming the moment I walked in. I met some of the friendliest people there, which made the experience even more special.

I ordered a pastry, deviled eggs, and coffee, and everything was delicious—perfect for a relaxed morning before exploring the neighborhood. The location is wonderful too. It’s right across the street from a beautiful cemetery and in such a walkable part of the Garden District, which made it the perfect place to start a morning stroll.

Between the cozy charm, great food, and kind people, I absolutely loved my time here. I would definitely visit again the next time I’m in New Orleans. ☕

We stopped by La Petit Blu, a bakery and coffee shop in New Orleans, and overall had a positive experience, especially when it came to the food. The atmosphere is very cute and charming, with a blue-and-white theme that makes it feel like a classic French-inspired bakery. That said, seating is extremely limited; there are only four tables inside, and they were all taken when we arrived, so we weren’t able to sit and eat indoors.

We ordered a ham and cheese walking crêpe, a croissant, a bacon, ham, and cheese breakfast sandwich, and coffee. The food was the standout. The croissant breakfast sandwich was rich, warm, and very satisfying, and the walking crêpe was light, refreshing, and easy to enjoy on the go. If you’re looking for a great breakfast sandwich or quick bite from a bakery in New Orleans, this spot delivers on food quality.

The coffee menu, however, was very limited. They only offered hot drip coffee or cold brew, with no specialty coffee drinks like lattes, which was disappointing if you’re someone who prefers espresso-based drinks. Overall, La Petit Blu is a solid stop if you’re in the area and want a delicious breakfast sandwich or crêpe in New Orleans, but expanding the coffee menu and adding more seating would really elevate the experience.

Le Petit Bleu, a charming crêperie in New Orleans’ Garden District affiliated with Commander’s Palace, exemplifies a felicitous fusion of Parisian elegance and Haute Creole innovation. Upon the recommendation of our erudite tour guide extolling the Bananas Foster crêpe—a sublime adaptation of the iconic dessert—I was so enamored with the intimate, jewel-box ambiance that I returned forthwith. The quiches proved exquisitely balanced, the collard greens crêpe a masterful savory revelation, and the orange-infused tea transcendentally sublime. An utterly cosy haven deserving unreserved commendation. Five stars.

Visited La Petit Bleu with my wife and we could not stop raving about how much we enjoyed our breakfast. The service was fast, the employees kind, the atmosphere was BEAUTIFUL – like being inside of a thoughtfully curated gift box. Even the trip over to the Garden district was something out of a movie. The Quiche Lorraine was delicious, the coffee was delicious, my wife enjoyed her BLT, and we shared a biscuit sandwich that may have been one of the best I’ve ever had. For this to be a Parisian inspired cafe they have truly exceeded my expectations. As someone who has been to Paris I enjoyed this southern delight way more. I even said to my wife, “If this was in NYC there would be a line wrapped around the corner and a 50 minute wait.” A MUST see in New Orleans.

Le Petit Bleu does a mix of breakfast, lunch, light dinner café fare, with a French-Creole twist. Here are some highlights:

Crêpes – Both savory and sweet. For instance: mushroom and strawberry. I didn’t eat any but the people with me seem to enjoy them.

My hubby had a soup and salad combo: cassoulet soup (a Louisiana classic) and a gulf shrimp salad. The shrimp were small, served cold but tasty.

I had the peach Bellini that was heavy on the Bellini and not too sweet.

The gift shop was the draw for me but overly priced. $63 for a candle and $115 for an apron, nah…I’m good.

Stopped by Le Petit Bleu in New Orleans for a coffee and a crepe, and it was a lovely experience. The coffee was well made and comforting, and the crepe was fresh, light, and flavorful—perfect for a relaxed break. The atmosphere is cozy and charming, with a calm, laid-back vibe that makes you want to slow down and enjoy the moment. The ambience feels very New Orleans–European, warm and welcoming, and ideal for a casual sit-down or quiet conversation. A great little spot to recharge while exploring the city.

This café is small, but charming. The menu is simple, but appetizing. The biscuits are large and dense. The croissants are soft and flaky. The frozen peach Bellini was delightful after a very long day of walking. Overall it was a wonderful lunch experience, and I will definitely return. (The bathroom was the cleanest bathroom I encountered on my entire trip.)

Adorable little café and shop right next to the iconic Commander’s Palace. The crepes, soups, salads, and sandwiches are fresh and delicious, and they offer a great selection of coffee, tea, wine, and cocktails. The shop has a fun collection of souvenirs and kitchen items, all featuring their signature white-and-blue stripes—think towels, aprons, hats, wooden spoons, cutting boards, candles, coffee, tea, books, and even umbrellas. A perfect spot to grab a bite and pick up a unique gift or keepsake!

Super cute spot to grab a bite to eat. Food was great and so is the service.
My only complaint is how small the dining area is inside.

I absolutely loved this charming spot, it reminded me of the “P’tit Dép” café in Montreal!
A vintage-style place that has it all: crepes, homemade iced drinks, and even a little boutique corner.
The photos speak for themselves. Thank you for this lovely moment, I truly enjoyed it!
